Kelsey Parker issues heartfelt advice to Liam Payne’s devastated relatives

Liam Payne’s devastated family received advice from Kelsey Parker.

The late One Direction singer, who died suddenly two weeks prior, was reportedly thrown from the balcony of his third-floor hotel room in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The star passed away after a series of traumas that resulted in “internal and external hemorrhage.” Of Liam’s 25 life threatening injuries, he is believed to have suffered a skull fracture. Investigators have stated they do not believe there is any “third-party” involvement, but they have made it clear that the search is still ongoing for his dealer amid rumors that a hotel employee was giving him narcotics.

After losing her husband Tom Parker of The Wanted to brain cancer in 2022, Kelsey is well aware of this suffering. She openly discussed with HELLO! magazine: “Liam’s family should just take each day as it comes and do what’s best for them as a family. If all of that involves crying and sitting together, you should do that. But it’s also very difficult.

Kelsey also sent a poignant message to Liam’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy, encouraging her to make Liam “proud” amidst the heartbreak. She expressed, “When your partner is taken from you, it feels cruel and you feel as though you’ve been robbed of your future. So all Liam’s girlfriend can do now is make him proud. You would never have believed it if you had told me when Tom was missing that I would be where I am now. You now believe that this is the only way out. How am I going to cope? ‘ However, you must ride the waves of grief and make an effort to raise your spirits and resurrect yourself if it does.

Kelsey draws strength from her own personal experience to take comfort in knowing that Tom’s legacy is still present in his music and The Wanted. She conceives that Liam’s beloved ones, particularly his seven-year-old son Bear (he and his ex-partner Cheryl Tweedy), will find solace in the lasting memories he and his One Direction contributions have left behind.

Kelsey, who shares Aurelia, five, and Bodhi, four, with Tom added that while she is unable to speak on behalf of Liam’s family – she finds comfort in reflecting on Tom’s achievements with The Wanted. She continued, citing the fact that her late husband had the ability to share his “stories” with their two children.

The Wanted have won a number of awards throughout their careers, including Best British Single at the 2010 BRIT Awards for their debut song, All Time Low. Additionally, they won a number of awards, including the Radio 1 Teen Awards and People’s Choice.

The Wanted were also honored at MTV VMAs and the American Music Awards. Tom was diagnosed with an inoperable tumour in October 2020, and he passed away in March 2022 from brain cancer. He revealed that his tumor was stable in 2021, and he was able to perform on some of their successful reunion tours with his bandmates, including Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, and Nathan Sykes. However, his condition suddenly deteriorated, and despite chemotherapy and intensive treatments, he died with Kelsey by his side.
