Katie Price’s inner circle has reportedly been left concerned over the 46-year-old’s latest cosmetic surgery plans, with the mum-of-five said to be having a procedure on her ears. Katie is scheduled to fly to Turkey to correct her “pixie ears,” which her friends believe were affected by a facelift, in accordance with her friends who spoke to Closer Magazine.

A source told the publication: “Katie is heading to Turkey]this month] for her first New Year’s procedure: fixing her pixie ears. After her recent faciallift, she believes they need to be fixed. She’s having her ears removed, then re-stitched in place and pinned back so that they don’t stick out”.

Katie, a popular glamour model in the late 1990s, has allegedly undergone 17 breast augmentations, six facelifts, and other body modifications over the years. She documented the recovery process on her social media accounts, and her most recent facelift was in Turkey last summer.

Addressing their concerns about Katie’s “obsession” with surgery, the source added: “Friends think Katie has gone too far. They believe she is obsessed with the attention and money the surgery brings in, both financially and physically.

Doctor Omar Tillo, a plastic surgeon and senior medical director at CREO, spoke to The Mirror about what can happen to your ears when you have your ears removed after a number of people noticed how Katie’s ears were sitting after having her facelifts.

He issued a warning about the risks involved with surgery, saying: “Repeated surgeries can lead to scar tissue buildup, nerve damage, and skin thinning, which may complicate future procedures. There’s also the possibility of infection, asymmetry, or complications like poor wound healing”.

He also made a point of mentioning how incisions frequently made around the ears can be altered by facelifts. If this is not done with care, it can change the appearance of earlobes, making them look “pulled” back as they are fully attached to the head rather than hanging.

“If a facelift isn’t carried out with precision, the natural position of the ears can shift, leading to what’s known as the ‘ pixie ear ‘ effect, where the earlobes appear stretched or pulled”, Doctor Tillo added. “It’s possible that Katie Price’s ears look higher than usual due to repeated facelifts and skin tightening, which can sometimes distort the ear shape and positioning”.

Sharing guidance to those who are considering having cosmetic work on their face, he stated: “It’s important to think about long-term maintenance, such as proper skin care and non-surgical treatments, to prolong results. Also, avoid overdoing it with too many surgeries, as this can lead to complications and an unnatural appearance”.

Katie revealed her procedures in an interview with the well-known podcast How To Fail With Elizabeth Day last year. She candidly told author Elizabeth: “People don’t realise when you have surgery and stuff, you only see before and after, you don’t see in between – when you’ve had it, the pain and the cleaning, the stitches out and the bed rests.

So I’d love to share information with others about it. It’s damaging to your body. I’ve had so many anaesthetics. I know I still choose to do it, but I’m older now. “

She also admitted choosing her next procedure is” like going shopping, for me, which is so bad”.

Katie expanded:” But I could go further than I have done. Sometimes I think to myself, “Ooh, are people looking at you because you look plastic, or are they looking for you because you look good?” There’s nothing worse than when these young girls now, in their early twenties, who are all getting fillers, all getting lips, all getting the boobs]done]. “
