Katie Price shares shock career change as she vows to return to pre-fame passion
I’m a Celeb star Katie Price, 46, has revealed the dramatic career U-turn she’s currently chasing.
She shared that she wants to leave her mark on the world by becoming a Page 3 model and turning to charity, including her recent Channel 4 documentary about using IVF to try to have another child. In the most recent episode of her podcast, The Katie Price Show, Katie revealed her hopes and aspirations for 2025 while speaking with her sister Sophie. With two major courses to be completed, Peter Andre’s ex-partner shared that work was at the top of her list, paving the way for new career paths.
Katie said she was “feeling focused and wants to accomplish all of her goals this year” and that she was drawn to the life coaching because she enjoys mental health. I want to accomplish these goals for my life. And the paramedic thing. I will have to do the access course”.
Katie has previously mentioned her hopes for entering the medical field. An insider claimed Katie “has made no secret of her dreams of becoming a paramedic” as she was scheduled to work as a volunteer first responder for a documentary in 2021, but it never appeared to be exposed.
Then, in January 2023, Katie described her hopes of becoming a paramedic again, explaining that she was studying to become a nurse before deciding to leave that career in favor of showbiz. Following her community service at the hospice’s charity shop, Katie shared that she was training to become a paramedic after volunteering at St. Catherine’s Hospice in Crawley in September of the same year. After pleading guilty to breaking a restraining order by calling Michelle Penticost, her ex-husband, Michelle Hayler, the star was serving community service.
This time around, Katie’s goals are more specific, as she hopes to use her skills in the facility where her 20-year-old son Harvey Price lives. She told Sophie: “I’m so good with Harvey and I’ve also applied where Harvey’s going, because he moves back – I’ve found a place for him in March.
He is moving 20 minutes away from me, and they even claimed that I would make a wonderful caregiver there. I therefore agreed to volunteer for that purpose once per week. I just love helping people and I want to be on the road, or Air Ambulance, it is a long course. “
Katie has been open about how she believes she can love and look after the young man better than anyone else because of the learning disability that comes with septo-optic dysplasia, a early brain development disorder that has partially blinded him, and Prader-Willi Syndrome, a rare genetic condition that can cause an excessive appetite.
