Carl Woods, Kate Price’s ex-girlfriend, claims that she never really wanted her child. She also attacked the former glamour model.

The duo were the subject of Channel 4 docuseries Katie Price: Making Babies, a two-part show which follows their failed 2023 IVF journey. The pair’s final moments were also captured on camera, with Carl posing as a stooge of the glamour model as their relationship crumbled under the strain of trying to conceive. The pair ended their relationship shortly after filming was over.

Carl, 35, has now claimed it was actually his 46-year-old ex’s craving for attention which was the root of her desire for another baby, not her love for him.

He said: “It wasn’t about having a kid with me. She wants the newest puppy, not just an attention grab. It didn’t matter if it was me or just a sperm donor. It’s not about how much I genuinely want a child to be with you.

Anyone who will donate sperm to her will be the only one who wants a child, Katie says. So, he told The Sun, “sorry if I’m a little flippant about it.”

On their 2023 IVF journey (PA), Carl Woods and Katie Price invited photographers.

The surgery loving OnlyFans star is already a proud mother to sons Harvey, 22, Junior, 19, and 11-year-old Jett, and daughters Princess, 17, and Bunny, 10.

Carl and Katie split shortly after their failed IVF journey, and he has zero regrets. Last month, he told The Sun:” This is not a heartbreak situation. I’m not unhappy that it didn’t work. I’m ecstatic that it didn’t work. I’m sure she’s glad she’s got the clean break. You know, we don’t have any ties.

“So actually, yes, everything happens for a reason. God was looking down on me and Kate and said, ‘ you’re not matched to be parents, let’s not make this work. You go that way, I’ll go this way'”.

Following the release of the show, which followed her and Carl through their sperm and egg health checks, sperm and egg testing, and treatment to increase their chances of having a child together, Katie was accused of having “no respect.”

When Katie and Carl were filmed discussing potential donors and the characteristics they would have liked for their potential child to possess, viewers were offended. Katie asked: “Right would you like them to have curly hair or straight? I like curly”.

However, Carl had the opposite response, saying: “I like straight”. Moving on, Katie observed: “Hobbies, you don’t like hiking, you hate reading and you don’t like classical and contemporary dance”, to which he replied: “No”.

The couple then dismissed a university-educated donor who “clearly isn’t us”, before Katie continued: “Next one – oh you only like this one because she says she’s 24. Listen this isn’t a dating app”. Appearing to find a match, Katie was filmed exclaiming: “She’s a good one number four”. Carl then commented: “Four is my lucky number actually”, before Katie said: “What’s the brainy one again? A little nerd might be nice. Brains over beauty”.

However, some viewers were offended by her treatment of some viewers, who wrote on X: “You’re disgusting giving rancid Katie Price IVF treatment for viewing figures. Give it to couples who may never have the option to become parents.

Katie was told by a doctor she had a 1% chance of conceiving using her own eggs
A doctor informed Katie that using her own eggs (PA) she had a 1% chance of getting pregnant.

Another slammed the show and its subjects, writing: “Watching Katie Price Making Babies – Absolutely disgusted! All about me!!! No respect for those who have been on the IVF rollercoaster. I treasure my precious miracle who took 6 transfers. She makes a mockery of the IVF process. Shame on #Channel4 for giving her a platform”.
