After revealing that she had been diagnosed with skin cancer for the second time, comedian Katherine Ryan took to Instagram to share a health update with her followers.

On social media, Katherine Ryan shared a health update.

Comedian Katherine Ryan has shared a health update on Monday after she underwent another surgery. The latest operation was the star’s second time in a week following her recent cancer diagnosis.

The 41-year-old comic revealed her health situation last week after a cancerous mole was discovered on her arm. It comes after she had another melanoma when she was younger. Katherine has now taken to her social media to share an update. On her Instagram Story, she uploaded an image of her arm covered with a plaster. She captioned the image: “Done,” with a tick and a red love heart emoji.

Katherine has previously experienced stage two melanoma, which meant she was able to recognize the symptoms in a mole way back in 2022. However, it took a long time for her to have the mole removed and tested.

She first mentioned the news on her podcast Telling Everyone. She revealed to her listeners that she had noticed a mole on her arm and had decided to have it checked by a doctor. They informed her that nothing was wrong at the time, but the actress later admitted she was still “really worried” and felt something was wrong.

She continued, “The mole kept changing, I know a lot about melanoma, I had stage two melanoma on my leg, and I’ve spoken about that before,” referring to her decision to reject the initial opinion.

She later continued, “But even when he looked at it, he said, “I will do a shave and send it away for testing. “

Not long after the doctor’s second reassured Katherine that it was undoubtedly nothing, Katherine was then contacted again and received confirmation that it was melanoma.

She explained that she had the procedure in private, but she defended her decision to not insult the NHS. She claimed that one clinic offered to pay £300 for a “seven-minute” consultation, but that the only reason they decided to take it away was that I had to visit a fancy, private location in South Kensington and pay them a grand.

The star initially shared that she had skin cancer on Friday, and by Sunday she was out and about again. The comedian arrived at The Grand Theatre completely makeup-free and was seemingly in high spirits.

She was spotted smiling toward the outside world. Katherine is currently touring the UK as part of her Battleaxe.

She showed no signs of letdown this week by displaying her smile and wave at a performance at one of her shows just two days after revealing her skin cancer diagnosis.
