Kano Gov Poll: Appeal Court To Deliver Judgment Today

The All Progressives Congress (APC) and Governor Abba Yusuf of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) have a dispute over governorship in Kano State that the Court of Appeal and Abuja Division has set for judgment on Friday (today).

The judgment is expected to be handed down by 10 a.m., per an announcement posted on the appellate court’s board.

In the meantime, the Kano State Government has urged composure in advance of the governorship poll’s anticipated outcome.

The government urged NNPP supporters to maintain their composure and refrain from interfering with the peace in a statement from Baba Halilu Dantiye, the Kano State Commissioner for Information.
