John Barrowman, a notorious actor, is reportedly giving away tickets to his John Barrowman Laid Bare tour.

The former Torchwood actor is currently touring the UK with the second half of the tour after recently saying he had been “blackballed” by the industry following his scandal in 2021. After being accused of exposing himself on the set of Doctor Who and its spin-off Torchwood, former Dancing on Ice judge John, 57, was exposed.

John described his behaviour as “spirited” and said his “tomfoolery” was never “intended nor interpreted as being sexual in nature” but apologised for his “exuberant behaviour” in 2021. Years on, the actor decided to embark on a tour in 2024, with the first leg wrapping up in November, to speak out about the scandal.

The second leg of the tour is set to kick-start in February. However, one particular date’s tickets are reportedly being offered for free. On February 5, John will take the stage at Tunbridge Wells Assembley Halls, but a screenshot of the seating arrangement for the performance shows that many of the seats are still available.

In less than two weeks, a number of seats will still be available for the Tunbridge Wells performance.

On the sales website Show Film First, which was initially priced at £28.80, reportedly offers free tickets. The website claims to only be charging an “access fee,” which is meant to cover “our reasonable costs of providing access to the tickets and administering the booking website,” according to The Sun. However, it has been claimed that nothing more is being added to the ticket itself.

On the second leg of his tour John is set to visit Birmingham, Tunbridge Wells, Chatham, Harpenden and more. On February 4, John’s tour resumes, and on March 28 he will give his final performance in London.

Following the scandal in 2021, John claimed that the showbiz industry had “turned their backs” on him. He told WalesOnline earlier this week: “I think I’ve been badly treated, definitely”.

He added that he had accused colleagues of “turning their backs” on him and that he had been “disgusted” by the way that people with whom he had worked on Doctor Who and Torchwood had treated him. John branded the story “c**p” and said he “ended up being good clickbait”.

“It’s been devastating – to the point I was blackballed”, he added. “I can’t get into a room for an audition or a meeting anymore. Because of how people have treated me, it’s quite revolting for me to talk about it and expose it on stage. I’ve always been open and honest, and I’ve always had a conversation about everything, but it’s disgusting for people to manipulate me. Only the truth comes out of my mouth.

John continued to say that he was only “written into a script” on the set when he claimed to be naked. He continued, “It was my fault if I was wiggling it or being stupid because I’m standing there naked, b******.”

John admitted to exposing himself on set in May 2021, saying, “With the benefit of hindsight, I understand that my exuberant behavior may have caused upheurges, and I have since apologised for this.

He added: “Since my apology in November 2008, my understanding and behaviour have also changed”.
