Jesy Nelson, the star of Little Mix, has revealed details about her pregnancy and twins.
The singer only made the pregnancy announcement a few weeks ago, when she showed a photo of herself and her pregnant boyfriend, Zion Foster, 26. Alongside the image, Jesy, 33, teasingly wrote: “She’s eating for 3 now”.
Jesy revealed that she was surprised to learn that she was expecting two babies despite her obvious excitement over the birth of her first child and the beginning of her family with Zion. She hosted a Q&, A on her Instagram Stories, and shared how her pregnancy was going with fans.
“OMG! How are you? How did you discover that you were twins? Were you surprised”? one follower asked, with Jesy revealing: “Very very shocked… it wasn’t planned but I instantly felt happy as soon as I saw that I was”.
Another fan asked what Jesy’s “initial reaction” was when she found out she was going to be a mum, and she reiterated her surprise. Although many of our friends had no idea we were having twins because I was showing so early, Zion and I were shocked when we learned we were having them, she wrote.
Jesy acknowledged in a few more posts that while she was thrilled to be giving birth to twins, her pregnancy wasn’t the simplest so far. After a fan said she was “looking slay”, Jesy responded: “Thank you I don’t bloody feel it… but just so grateful and blessed to be having twins”! Another follower asked her how she was feeling, and Jesy shared: “I’ve been very sick where I’m having twins so constant vomiting 24/7… but other than that feeling very blessed”.
In light of rumors that she might collaborate with ITV to create a reality TV show about her early years as a mother, Jesy is already being very open about her journey as a mother.
A source told The Sun that Jesy would make the perfect fit for an ITVBE-style reality show that would see her become a first-time mother shortly after her pregnancy announcement. Now that Ferne McCann has left her fly-on-the-wall series, there is a market gap, and Jesy would be a fantastic candidate to sign up.
According to the source, production company bosses failed to secure a soap actress to document her pregnancy, and Jesy could be a great alternative. They asserted that Michelle Keegan and the production company behind the show were in a position to never get that off the ground.
They believe Jesy would make a perfect match based on her surprise news, which has attracted attention. She also appeals to younger audiences and has attracted a large following since her days as a Little Mix. The singer’s representative has been contacted by The Mirror for comment.
