Jessie J has joked that she’s turning her back on her music career for now, and is setting her sights on a new career in comedy instead. The Price Tag singer, 36, revealed: “I actually genuinely want to do stand-up. I love making people laugh – and cry. I just love feeling things. So yeah, I do want to do comedy.”

Last week, the singer took a step back and cracked jokes at the Apple Music event The Woman I Am in London in honor of International Women’s Month.

Jessie also recalled her performance at the Olympics alongside Queen as a memorable and bizarre moment from her career.

She continued, “I had that yellow duvet attached to me when I performed with Queen at the Olympics.” My ear wasn’t turned off by the choreographer’s microphone. He was saying, “Get it. Oh my goodness God. Yes! Own it! ‘

What is happening in my life, I wondered? I fortunately, I could sing along. I then watched Come Dine With Me while making a cheese sandwich at home. What is actually happening, I recall thinking?

Jessie shared that over the past few years she’s written not just one, but three albums and plans to make music comeback after a seven-year break.

“I finally assembled a team this year. I wrote three albums between 2019 and 2021. I also enjoy a lot of music. That’s not the difficult part. It’s getting it out, in my opinion. And I’ll be releasing some new music soon.

The event also featured contributions from Louise Redknapp, Tiwa Savage, Eve, and Rochelle Humes, all of whom discussed the strength and power of women. However, Rochelle was quick to shut down any talk of returning to her pop roots.

Rochelle clarified, “Ex-music artist,” when referred to as a musician and entrepreneur. And Rochelle responded, “I don’t think I will,” when host Rebecca Judd joked that she was “scaring” her by suggesting that she might never play music again.

The singer recently revealed that she has ADHD and OCD. She recently made that statement publicly. She was diagnosed with both Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), which are officially recognized by the government. Jessie, who is a mother of one, shared the news with her fans, saying it forced her to “re-think” everything about her life.

As long as you consider it from the right perspective, she continued, adding that ADHD gave her the impression that she had a “superpower.” According to the NHS website, people with ADHD have an impact on how they behave. People who suffer from the condition may appear restless, struggle to focus, and act on impulses while doing so.

The singer, who has had a number of hits, including her debut Do It Like a Dude and Price Tag, claimed that Sky Safir Cornish Coleman’s birth exposed her issues much more.
