Jeremy Kyle returns to ITV as he signs brand new deal with Kate Garraway
Five years after the end of his program, presenter Jeremy Kyle will return to ITV.
Jeremy, 59, teased his return in a post on Instagram this week. It featured a photo of the radio host behind-the-scenes, with him seen wearing a white shirt, navy trousers and a pair of brown shoes. He posed next to an ITV sign. The post, shared on Thursday, however did not include a caption.
Jeremy will be a guest on Kate Garraway’s, 57, new series of Life Stories, it has been reported. In the interview with the famous guest, the Good Morning Britain host is expected to discuss Jeremy’s decades-long career and his private life.
His return to ITV comes nearly six years after the channel canceled his contentious Jeremy Kyle Show, which had aired in 2005. At the time, Carolyn McCall, ITV’s CEO, said it was “the right time for the show to end”. It was made after Steve Dymond’s former partner died the same year.
Kate and Jeremy are alleged to have filmed together this week for his return to ITV on her interview-based show. He filmed with Kate this week, according to a source, and he was open and honest about everything he’s been through. The source went on to claim: “Everyone will be thrilled to see him back at ITV, it’s a really great episode”.
Following the departure of its former presenter Piers Morgan, Kate took over as host of Life Stories in 2022. Since its debut in 2009, Piers has covered interviews with Kelly Holmes, Freddie Flintoff, Freddie Flintoff, and Katie Price. In a 2021-produced episode, Kate was his final guest. A third series of Life Stories, which includes guests like John Barnes and Ruby Wax, hasn’t yet been released. She has since hosted two series of Life Stories herself.
