US actor, James Woods, has revealed his home survived the Los Angeles wildfires that continue to ravage the star-studded Californian neighbourhood.

The 77-year-old Ghosts of Mississippi star claimed he visited what he thought was the Pacific Palisades’ remnants, only to discover that it was still standing. In recent days, a number of people have been tragically killed in fires Paris Hilton described as “hell” on earth, and thousands of people have been forced to leave their homes behind. Plus, over a 1000 buildings and structures have been completely destroyed.

Telling his followers he’d been blessed by a “miracle”, James took to X revealing that, thankfully, his home was “still standing”. He said: “We managed to get to our property and our home, that we were told is gone forever, is still standing. Standing is relative in this hellish landscape, but smoke and other damage are not as bad as the total destruction we are in.

Woods praised the area surrounding the home as “the dark side of the moon,” saying he was “so happy and grateful” to have come back. He shared: “It’s so fundamentally gut-wrenching and upsetting, it’s almost hard to celebrate the joyous news that our home survived. While we rejoice to find our house intact, in the midst of a hellscape like this, you can only think of your neighbours. The wry finger of fate made the decision to destroy our home a day before I was so certain.

The 94-year-old neighbor’s replacement caregiver allegedly left him behind because of evacuation orders, but the Oppenheimer star later revealed that he had assisted in his rescue. The Golden Globe-winning actor confirmed his home had been evacuated a few days after sharing security camera footage of flames engulfing a nearby home and the bottom of his balcony.

“We were blessed to have LA Fire and Police Departments that did a great job. We are safe and away, he wrote on X, “I can’t recommend the LA fire and LAPD enough.” “It tests your soul, losing everything at once, I must say”. James is one of the fortunate celebrities whose homes survived the wildfires. As the fiery flames keep igniting, many other stars have lost their properties.

Paris Hilton, Anthony Hopkins, and Jhene Aiko all admitted that their worst fears had been confirmed after revealing that their homes had been burned to the brim on social media.

Triggered star, Jhene Aiko, who has two kids, told her followers on social media her “children had lost their home”, sharing: “Me and my children’s home is gone]heartbreak emoji] burned to the ground with all of our things inside.

” Lord have mercy]prayer hands emoji] Thankful we still have each other]blue heart emoji] starting from scratch. My heart is so heavy]heartbreak emoji]. “

Jhene has a 16-year-old daughter called Namiko Love Browner with ex O’Ryan and a two-year-old son Noah Hasani with current beau, Big Sean.
