Jade Goody’s agonising final message to sons Bobby and Freddy before tragic death

Before her tragic passing away from cervical cancer, Jade Goody left a heartbreaking final message to her sons, Bobby and Freddy.
Jade Goody’s life was marked by both fame and tragedy, she was best known for her appearance on Big Brother back in 2002 as a loud and proud Londoner.
Nine weeks later, Jade left the house with a reputation for being largely unknown dental nurse. However, her later years were filled with struggles both private and public, culminating in her 27th birthday passing away from cervical cancer.
She left behind a heart-wrenching gift for her sons, Bobby and Freddy Brazier, before Jade passed away on March 22, 2009. They would not recall their mother at the time because they were only four and five.
To ensure they knew the love she had for them, Jade created a photo album and attached a final message to her sons, which has become one of her most poignant legacies, the Daily Mail reports.

In the album, Jade wrote, “Dear Bobby and Freddy, I have requested that this book be made so that when you are older, you can recall how much fun we had.
I appreciate the opportunities we had to make the most of our time together, and I treasure those moments. The most priceless moments are these.
Someone who is much wiser than I once said that you haven’t lived if you haven’t discovered anything you’d sacrifice life for. You provide both proof that I have lived and that I will always. Mummy”.
Before joining Big Brother, Jade took care of Jackie Budden, her mother, who had been disabled by a motorbike accident.
Jade’s challenging childhood led her to audition for Big Brother in search of a break from her troubled home life. She was unknown when she first came into the home in 2002, but the nation soon became enthralled by her vibrant personality.
However, it was her 2007 return to Celebrity Big Brother that thrust her into controversy. Jade’s treatment of Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty sparked a media storm, with her racist remarks leading to a public outcry and an investigation. The scandal nearly derailed her career.
While filming the Indian version of Big Brother, known as Bigg Boss, Jade was diagnosed with cervical cancer in the year 2008. Jade’s battle against the disease was made public after her diagnosis was revealed on television. She continued to work despite her illness and wanted to give her children’s financial support.
Just one month before her passing, Jade tied the knot with her partner, Jack Tweed, in a moving ceremony. In those final days, Jade’s thoughts remained on her sons. Beyond just watching reality TV, Jade’s legacy includes the awareness she raised about cervical cancer.
Since Jade’s passing, her sons have grown up in the spotlight, Bobby has become a rising star in EastEnders, and Freddy appeared on Celebrity Race Across the World. Both have continued to honour their mother’s memory in different ways.
Bobby, in particular, credited his father, Jeff Brazier, for his support and guidance, dedicating his success at the 2023 National Television Awards to him.
