Israel’s Smotrich calls for ‘new border’ and occupation of south Lebanon

Israel’s Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich has called for the effective annexation of southern Lebanon. In a speech on Monday, he stated Israel needs to extend its borders and said “the Litani River must become our new border with the State of Lebanon—just like the buffer line in Gaza.”
