Victoria’s Secret, a 3’8-inch model, has criticized the lingerie brand for using her.
The US underwear company is known for its legendary catwalk shows and models who donned wings and strut down the runway are nicknamed “Victoria’s Secret Angels.”
Stars they’ve used in the past include models Adriana Lima, Miranda Kerr, Gisele Bündchen, Alessandra Ambrosio, Heidi Klum and Tyra Banks. And all these women have one thing in common – they’re all leggy beauties.
However, Cait Hellyer – who brands herself ‘ Britain’s smallest glamour model ‘ – thinks they should change that.
The 23-year-old Gloucestershire resident says she is fed up of other women’s brands not representing them. She says there’s ‘ no excuse ‘ when other companies, like Lounge Underwear, have used shorter models.
Cait told us: “I don’t think Victoria’s Secret has used shorter models. I know Lounge Underwear have in their campaigns, they’ve used two or three. I definitely think there’s room for more diversification.
” If brands like Lounge and Ann Summers can use shorter model, then Victoria’s Secret can too. “
Cait, who also stated that she would like to work with the underwear brand Boux Avenue, believes that having more diverse models in lingerie campaigns would benefit women.
She said, “It would be so much better if women could see more women who can relate to me.” Even I struggle with body image, if I see a leggy model, toned stomach, it makes me feel like I’m not seeing people who look like me, so I can’t imagine how other people would feel too. “
Victoria’s Secret has been contacted for comment.
Cait, who boasts 26, 800 Instagram followers on her @asliceofcait account, started out on the site sharing fashion posts aimed at women. However, she made the decision to sell her OnlyFans content after realizing that only men were actually talking to them.
She loves it while the money is coming in, selling lingerie, swimwear, and latex videos on the website. I can go on holiday and see my family when I want, “she said”. I don’t feel guilty about living this way because I have flexibility.
