I tried award-winning beauty brand Saie to create a glowing ‘no makeup’ look – I was blown away
Saie, a multi-award-winning beauty brand, is well-known worldwide for its natural makeup products, which are ideal for giving off a “no makeup” appearance. I’m a lover of beauty and skincare, but I regret not finding them until recently.
In 2019, Saie, a brand-new beauty brand, offers a variety of clean products made with skin-loving ingredients. The brand’s collection includes lightweight tinted moisturisers, gleaming highlighters, stunning lip glosses and much more, which can all be shopped at Cult Beauty.
When a box of gorgeous products in stunning packaging arrived on my doorstep, I was incredibly pleased to try them all. After cleansing my face, applying toner and moisturiser, I was set to go.

The Glowy Super Gel in the shade of sunglow was the first Saie product I applied to my skin. It costs £16 individually, or you can buy the set of two minis for £20 which also includes a limited edition warmglow shade.
My skin instantly melted in the Glow Super Gel, which has a dreamy liquid-gel texture. The healthiest my skin has appeared in months was immediately apparent on my face. The gel is enriched with ‘ complexion-caring ingredients’, such as brightening vitamin C, moisturising papaya seed oil, hydrating glycerin and barrier-boosting squalane oil.
For a glittering finishing touch, apply it on top of makeup, or on its own to give it a nice finish. To finish off my “no makeup” look, I added a little touch to the tip of the nose, cheekbones, and brow bones as well.
Next, I applied Saie’s Slip Tint Dewy Tinted Moisturizer (£29) in shade 3 using my fingertips. I used to dislike tinted moisturisers because I prefer a full-coverage foundation to cover my dark circles and a few spots on my face.
I’ve tried a few in the past, but they have sadly either failed to improve my skin or are now gathering in unattractive spots on my face. The best moisturizer I’ve ever used is definitely Saie’s Slip Tint Dewy Tinted Moisturizer, and I swear by it.
Aloe vera soothes your skin and releases a surge of antioxidants and enzymes to lock in moisture while vitamin C and liquorice, which are the product’s skin-brightening agents, are used to power the product. Additionally, it contains hyaluronic acid, which retains hydration and contributes to the dreamy dew-drenched finish, and pansy flower extract, which is good for sensitive skin types.
The color perfectly complemented my fair skin, and it quickly absorbed into my skin without feeling greasy. As expected, the tinted moisturiser didn’t completely cover my dark circles and spots, but thankfully Saie’s Slip Tint Radiant All-Over Concealer (£22) in the shade 5 was on hand to fix this.
I adore the concealer applicator because it allowed me to apply it specifically to the eye area and spots. Only a small amount of concealer was required to give me the coverage I needed because the shade 5 perfectly matched the tinted moisturiser shade 3. It contains medium coverage while being moisturising glycerin and plumping hyaluronic acid, which nourish, smooth, and soothe the skin.
I used the brand’s Fluffy Pinpoint and Setting Brush (£21) to apply Saie’s Airset Radiant Loose Setting Powder (£25) in the shade translucent to finish the base. According to Saie, the powder is made of Aerated-Cream Technology, which provides a weightless formula that produces a “bouncy, skin-like finish while reducing excess shine and oil.”
The translucent powder perfectly adhered to the base, giving it a smooth finish with a healthy glow without appearing shiny. The packaging is the only thing the powder has that I found difficult to remove, but I’m hoping to get used to it over time.
Now that the base was complete, I was ready to add some much-needed colour to my face. I blended the Dew Bronze Soft-Focus Effortless Liquid Bronzer (£20) in the shade sand into my cheeks, hairline, and the sides of my nose using Saie’s The Big Brush (£21). Then, using the same brush, I applied the shade chilly Dew Blush Liquid Cheek Flush to my nose bridge and cheeks. The Mini Dew Blush Trio Set retails for £36, or it costs £22.
The bronzer and blush applicators made it so easy for me to use the product precisely and apply the right amount, just like the concealer. Then it came to the eyes: I had to use an eyelash curler before I had to grab the jet-black Saie Mascara 101 (£21).
To strengthen your lashes, it contains hydrating shea butter, moisturizing shea butter, and a Hydra-Mineral Complex with arginine amino acids. The mascara applicator brush has tiny bristles around the tip, making it unique compared to anything I’ve ever seen before.
Even the tiniest of my eyelashes were made to look like they were covered in mascara, which made sure my lashes didn’t clump in any way. My lashes stayed curled all day without any transfer underneath them after one coat of mascara completely transformed my eyes.
Last but not least, I applied Saie Lip Liner 101 (£17) in the shade flirt with the Glossybounce Hydrating Lip Oil (£18) in the shade remix which felt so soft and nourishing. My “no makeup” look was perfectly completed with the lip combination, which stayed on for hours without need for a touch-up.
I’m happy to report that Saie’s products have become a permanent part of my makeup bag because the glowing, natural appearance I had first created in the morning was exactly the same as it was when I had to take it out before going to bed. I have been completely amazed by the products’ quality, and even though there are less expensive brands of makeup, I think Saie is worth the price. The entire collection is available here.
Boots stocks a number of brands, including Made By Mitchell, which sells similar liquid blush, highlighter, and lip liners. Additionally, LookFantastic has many well-known makeup brands, including NARS, which has a Saie-like tinted moisturiser.
