I owe the UK fans after last performance – Edwards

Leon Edwards claims that the Briton, who is scheduled to fight for the first time since being defeated by Belal Muhammad in July, “owes the fans” in the UK.
Edwards, 33, was defeated over five exhausting rounds by Birmingham’s Edwards, who lost his welterweight title at UFC 304 in Manchester.
On Saturday at the O2 Arena in UFC London, Edwards will face American Sean Brady in the main event.
“I’m going to the finish line.” After my most recent performance in the UK, I feel obligated to the fans,” Edwards told BBC Sport.
Eight months ago, Edwards suggested the Briton had felt the pressure of pursuing Georges St-Pierre’s record-breaking welterweight title defense record. The Briton said Edwards was uncharacteristically slow with Muhammad.
Edwards’ first fight with Brady, 32, who ranks fifth in the welterweight rankings after losing almost ten years, is against Brady.
Kamaru Usman was his opponent in 2015 before he was outraged by Muhammad.
“I believe a little pressure has been relieved by the defeat,” she said. I spent almost 10 years without a fight, and now I’m just going out and not worrying about breaking any records,” Edwards said.
I was chasing GSP’s record, but now I feel happy with myself because I’m a proven veteran and can perform and showcase my best self-image to the world.
After Jack Della Maddalena withdrew to fight Muhammad in May, Brady was quickly selected for the matchup with Edwards.
