Helen Flanagan says she will never understand troll mentality as she hits back at one critic

Heather Flanagan has reacted to social media trolls who made fun of her pouty lips.

The 34-year-old former Coronation Street star was feeling self-conscious over the weekend as she made plans to travel across the Mississippi from Manchester. However, cruel trolls attacked her puffy lips by accusing her of putting too much filler in her pout as she uploaded a video of herself getting ready for a night out on Instagram.

Helen shared her clip with the caption “Christmas do in Liverpool so let’s go glam” and the drama started. Vicious comments almost immediately followed, with one follower writing in response: “What’s happened to her mouth”. And another typed: “your lip liner looks alittle strange? Like smudged”? – before adding to Helen that she “looked stunning”.

Another enraged fan, who wrote, “You’re a beautiful looking woman but your lips look too big & your top is a size too small!, you’re literally busting out of it & not in a good way”! Not taking the comments, Helen bit back to slam those questioning her appearance.

The soap icon, who has played Rosie Webster on ITV’s Coronation Street since 2000, wrote beneath her reel, “I never understand why people can be so mean x it doesn’t actually matter how someone looks, but if you’ve got a good heart your beautiful anyway,”

Helen has defended her decision to undergo cosmetic surgery in an effort to boost her confidence. She has been a fair bit of an open-mouth person about this. She mentioned having a boob job in early 2022, revealing in a sincere online post that she was “quite open about my recent boob job.” I’ve wanted to do this for a very long time, and by doing so, I’ve really gained my confidence back.

” I breastfed in total for three years. Matilda I fed for eight months. Delilah I fed for 13 months. Charlie I fed for 14 months. I wanted to finish my breastfeeding journey with Charlie pretty quickly so I could finish them. You might tie them in a bow, I thought. After giving birth, I had to wait six months before attempting it in January. I have to say that my breastfeeding journeys were precious. They are so inexplicably big for my frame, which was a little bit scary for me.

And plugging her surgeon, she added:” I went with @pallmallcosmetics and couldn’t be happier with my results I love them I keep showing all my girlfriends. I’m all for having body confidence, and I’m all for supporting other women when they make their own decisions.

And yet another time, she explained that she received Botox in 2019 in an effort to look younger and gain confidence after the birth of her second child. She stated online that she wanted to feel more self-assured and fresh after having Delilah. I would take pictures with the kids on my phone, and I would be shocked at how old I looked. In reality, I still feel like I’m 20. I’m so happy with my Botox, and it’s a good idea if you’re like me and still want to look 23.
