Katie has obviously had several sets of veneers in recent years, but Dalel Trabelsi, the dentist and clinical lead at Tooth Club, said: “Katie Price’s recent dental transformation has raised concerns, particularly about the size of her veneers and the potential risks involved.

Oversized veneers can lead to a number of issues, including bite misalignment, which could cause discomfort or temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders. They can also affect speech by affecting tongue movement and may irritate the gums, increasing the risk of gum disease or inflammation over time.

But she knows her teeth are a talking point, and after the snaps taken outside Waitrose, Katie took to her Instagram after reflecting on comments that her teeth were too big for her face. She shared a video to her fans and said: “Well the topic of this week is all about my teeth, not my weight”. Admitting: “People will find anything to pick on me”, the star, 46, said: “I don’t know, everyone says my teeth look too big for me. Well I can assure you, I haven’t had a new set of teeth.”

Even if she hasn’t recently had them done, the amount of times the star has changed them leads experts to worry about the health of her mouth and whether she has any tooth tissue remaining. Back in August 2024, Katie headed to Turkey with boyfriend, JJ Slater, amid her ongoing bankruptcy issues and the couple decided to get matching Turkey teeth while abroad.

On her Instagram page, Katie exhibited the impressive work that had been done, and she appeared to be pleased with the outcomes. She wore shades that read “Denttica,” a dental business.

Katie’s teeth have been a focal point throughout her entire career. The actress’ first transformation is thought to have occurred at the age of 20. It was back in 1998 when rumors about what she had said and done started to surface. She was a regular face as a glamorous model. In 1997, Katie had some porcelain veneers and made a crucial decision that would shape her career.

Katie then reportedly paid £25,000 to renew her dental veneers in Spain in 2007 according to the Daily Mail. When her teeth were making minor adjustments in 2006 and 2008, it became clear that little was being done before there was a noticeable shift in color and angle adjustments starting in 2017.

In 2017, Katie received her first veneer set, but problems started to arise. She mentioned how she had issues with two of her molars in 2019 and that the loss of one was only caused by her trip to Turkey in the same year.

She reportedly received a new set of Turkey veneers in 2020, but they broke up shortly afterward. Before finally being able to return to Turkey to have the gaps fixed, she had to put up with them for weeks. The teeth that were falling were at the back and couldn’t be seen from the front, an insider previously told The Sun Online, but she was “horrified” when they “came loose and she literally spat them out.

Then in 2023, she suffered an awkward blunder during a live video with fans as her tooth fell out. Her pearly whites caused a stir as it came loose during a chat with her followers. Never one to get embarrassed, however, Katie took the tooth out of her mouth and showed it to the camera. She then poked her tongue through the gap it had left and fans comforted the star as they pointed out that at least it wasn’t one of her front teeth and blamed vaping on them falling out.

Katie responded, “You know my tooth came out. Explain what happened. I allegedly put the vape on my tooth because I put it here [gestures to her mouth] and it’s on the tooth that comes out, so I was wondering if that’s what caused my tooth to fall apart. The reality TV star once famously invited cameras into the operating room, and her dental work has been well-documented.

The star has obviously had both crowns and veneers throughout her lifetime, with the latter being less intrusive. According to Dr. Nilesh R. Parmar, “Katie] would have had little to no tooth tissue left after a number of re-dos of veneers and now crowns over the years.”

Remember that we must remove more tooth tissue each time veneers or crowns are re-done, the award-winning dental implant surgeon said. These teeth may need root canals to prolong their lives as this nerve gets closer, further reducing the value of these teeth. According to Dr. Parmar, the majority of patients who have had aggressive crowns or veneers still require titanium dental implants.
