Geordie Shore star Marnie Simpson reveals unborn baby’s gender in emotional post
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Maddie Simpson revealed the gender of her third child.
Earlier this month, Marnie, 33, announced that she’s expecting another baby with her husband Casey Johnson. The reality TV star, who is best known for hosting Geordie Shore, and her partner Casey, who is 29 years old, already have two sons. The couple, who got married in 2023, are parents to Rox, five, and Oax, two – who were part of the announcement.
She shared the news with her followers on Instagram by posting a collection of pregnancy highlights. A positive pregnancy test clip was included in the footage along with some baby scans. Casey, a former Union J member, and Marnie were also seen cradling Casey’s baby bump at home. Before the family appeared together in a clip, Rox and Oax were later seen holding up baby scans at one point in the video.
Alongside the video, Celebrity Big Brother finalist Marnie teased over their family expanding, with her having written in the caption of the post: “Here we go again …” Casey reacted in the comments section: “Can’t wait to meet our baby”.
Now, less than a week after her pregnancy announcement, Marnie has shared her unborn baby’s gender in a sweet post. The expectant actress posted a video of herself cutting a cake with the message “It’s a….” before revealing the sweet treat’s pink or blue icing, the cake was cut off.
Marnie and Casey revealed that they are expecting a girl after cutting the cake open. After sharing the video, Marnie’s close friends and family rushed to congratulate her as Sophie Kasaei, her co-star on Geordie Shore, wrote, “The best blessing ever she’s going to be the most precious beautiful little girl ever.” Love Island star Kady McDermott commented: “Ahhhh a little princess! So happy for you”.
Elsewhere, TOWIE star Lauren Goodger added: “Oh my god perfect. Congratulations to you all, everyone. And Celebs Go Dating star Lauryn Goodman wrote: “Ahhh congratulations! Such a bless having both genders. So different! Her brothers will keep her safe! So happy for you guys”.
At the end of last year, Marnie celebrated Rox’s fifth birthday by giving an insight into parenting. She wrote in a message on Instagram for the occasion in October: “Today we celebrated my beautiful Rox’s 5th birthday”.
She continued: “The most wholesome day filled with love. I can’t even describe how quickly time has passed; I feel as though I just blinked and you are five. My funny, outgoing, wild &, UNIQUE boy, words can’t describe how much I love &, adore you. I adore your growth, but I also want you to be a little forever. Every day, you make my father and I proud. love you like a special boy always.
