Bath hooker Dan Frost scored a hat-trick of tries as the Prem Cup holders demolished Sale to boost their hopes of securing a play-off spot.
His treble was backed up by two tries apiece for both Arthur Green and George Timmins, with Charlie Griffin, Jason Spandler and debutant Tyler Mason also on the scoresheet, and Will Roue adding five conversions.
Tumy Onasanya and Nathan Jibulu crossed for the Sharks, with Albert Bradshaw adding a late consolation.
But Bath’s resounding bonus-point success ensured they leapfrogged their hosts into third place in Group A.
The hooker powered over twice from the back of the maul to underline the visiting pack’s dominance – the double sandwiched by an Onasanya reply, who bounced off two tackles to score with Tom Curtis adding the extras.
However, Sale gifted their opponents another try with half-time approaching as Joe Bedlow’s pass towards Alex Wills was snapped up by winger Griffin, who sped from inside his own half to dot down under the posts.
The Sharks struck back just after the turnaround, with Jibulu racing through on the left, but Bath quickly re-established control as Frost burst over once more to complete his try hat-trick.
It was one-way traffic for most of the final quarter as Green slid over for a second time and replacement flanker Timmins registered a swift double, either side of Spandler’s dart from the back of the maul with nine minutes left.
