Friends star Courteney Cox ‘hosting seances’ for ‘answers over Matthew Perry’

Following his passing last year, it is reported that Courtteney Cox is holding séances to talk with the late Matthew Perry about “unanswered questions.”

In October of this year, Matthew was found dead at his home in California at the age of 54, and his death was attributed to “the acute effects of ketamine.” According to reports, the late actor, who openly discussed his prior experiences with substance abuse and addiction, developed an intravenous ketamine addiction while seeking treatment for depression and anxiety.

His former Friends co-star Courteney, 60, is now said to have held numerous meetings to try to communicate with her late pal. However, she is alleged to have had an “Ouija board evenings” failure.

Courtteney has organized Ouija board evenings to connect with Matthew, according to a source who spoke to the Daily Mail. She wants to know the truth about his life and death because she believes there are still many unresolved issues.

The source added that despite havingn’t made contact with Matthew on the NBC sitcom for a decade, she isn’t giving up yet. They told the outlet: “So far]she] hasn’t managed to contact Matthew, she plans to continue the seances until she does”.

Courteney previously revealed that she once held a séance at a Los Angeles home where people “felt” there. During a Jimmy Kimmel Live appearance! She recalled that she sold the house in 2022 after a deliveryman claimed to see a behind her.

On the first anniversary of Matthew’s death, Courteney paid tribute to him earlier this month. Alongside photos of them together, she wrote in a post on Instagram for the occasion: “Missing you today and always”.

Following the news of Matthew’s passing last year, Courteney – who played his on-screen wife on Friends – said she was “so grateful for every moment” she had with him. She also described her co-star as “funny” and “kind”.

She wrote, “I miss you every day and I am so grateful for every moment I have with you, Matty,” in her tribute at the time. There are countless opportunities for me to share when I collaborate with someone as closely as I did with Matthew.

Courteney, who played Monica Geller, went on to share on moment from her friendship with Matthew, who played Chandler Bing. She wrote: “For now here’s one of my favorites. Chandler and Monica were supposed to get together in London for one night. But because of the audience’s reaction, it became the beginning of their love story. In]the] scene, before we started rolling, he whispered a funny line for me to say. He frequently engaged in that behavior. He had a good time and was funny.
