Fresh Shakeup In Army, Senior Officers Redeployed
Lieutenant-General Olufemi Oluyede, the head of the Nigerian Army (NA), has approved the appointment and posting of some senior officers to various staff, command, and instructional positions.

Maj Gen JH Abdussalam from Headquarters 6 Division to the Department of Special Services and Programmes and appointed Chief of Special Services and Programmes are among the others. Maj Gen JO Sokoya, appointed Commandant of the Nigerian Army Training Center, and Maj Gen UM Alkali, appointed Commandant of the Nigerian Army War College, are also senior officers who are also under the redeployment, and Maj Gen FS Etim, who was previously promoted to the Nigerian Army School of Infantry, was appointed Commandant.
