Everton sign Ladd from Manchester United

Hayley Ladd from Manchester United has been signed for an undisclosed fee by Everton.

The 31-year-old, who can play in both defence and midfield, becomes Everton’s fourth signing of the January transfer window.

This month, the Merseyside club has already added Emma Watson, Martina Fernandez, and Kelly Gago to their roster.

Ladd, who had previously played top-flight football for Bristol City and Birmingham, had spent more than five years with United.

“I’m just really excited to get going”, said Ladd, who has 99 caps for Wales. “It’s great to play under a manager who really wants to dominate the game.”

” At Wales, for a long time I’ve been playing centre-half, but at United and Birmingham I was playing in midfield.

“I enjoy both positions, and I think I can hopefully add something to each position and really give it a little more flexibility,” he said.
