Eubank Jr ‘scanned’ for eggs before heated exchange with Benn

Two days after Chris Eubank Jr.’s opponent had an egg in his face, Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn have heated exchanges at a news conference on Thursday.
After Benn failed a voluntary drug test, the pair engaged in a planned fight in October 2022, which led to a two-year dispute with anti-doping authorities before his suspension was lifted in November.
Both fighters are being tested by the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association for the contest, despite Benn’s consistently denying intent to dope.
Benn’s failed drugs test was not intended, according to an independent report released in February 2023 by the WBC, and could have been the result of an “highly elevated consumption” of eggs.
