In their final stop of the summer tour, England will face the United States in Washington on July 19.

Steve Borthwick’s side, who is currently ranked nine places above the hosts, will play the game at the 20, 000-capacity Audi Field.

England will play two-test matches against Argentina in La Plata on July 5 and San Juan on July 12 in the same match.

They have won nine of their previous meetings with the United States, most recently winning with a score of 43-29 in 2021.

England will be without their most experienced players, who will be chosen for the Australian tour by the British and Irish Lions.

Borthwick likely has a significant chance to add depth to his squad and give young prospects some game time during the match.

The United States won the autumn matches against Tonga and Portugal despite failing to make it to France for the final rugby world cup.

The nation will host the 2033 and 2031 World Rugby Championships.

The organizers’ plan to improve the game ahead of those events includes bringing top-tier teams to the nation.

The United States women’s team, England’s opening-game opponent for the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup, will play the match in a double-header before Fiji will take on Fiji in the second match.

On November 1st, New Zealand and Ireland will square off in Chicago for a famous match at Soldier Field.

Last summer, Scotland defeated the United States 42-7 in the same game in Washington.
