Emmerdale star Lisa Riley could finally be set to sign up to I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, after years of turning it down.
The 48-year-old said she is keen to take on the gruesome Bushtucker Trials before her 50th birthday, in a bid to challenge herself.
Speaking to Woman’s Weekly Magazine, she revealed: “I’m A Celebrity is something I would do before I turned 50, as a test for myself. They ask me most years and I wouldn’t rule it out.”
No stranger to a challenge, Lisa reached the semi-final of Strictly Come Dancing alongside the late professional dancer Robin Windsor back in 2012.
While the Australian jungle may not be as glamorous as Strictly, she insists she’s up for the test.
Previously speaking to the Daily Star, she shared: “It’s not because of all the creepy crawlies or the challenges, I actually wouldn’t mind those.”
For now, Lisa will be back on screens this week as part of the soap’s latest dramatic storyline.

Sharing details about what’s to come this Valentine’s Day, she told the magazine: “It’s party night. All the girls are glammed up but things go wrong.
“A huge row breaks out in the boys’ limo and there’s utter chaos in the girls’ limo, and both cars separately swerve off the road.
“They’re both packed with people and one of them crashes onto a frozen lake.”
Mandy is amongst 16 other villagers involved in the tragic event, set to leave multiple characters dead and another trapped in the icy waters beneath.
Seemingly confirming the deaths, she went on to tell the outlet: “The crash means that dear, dear friends of mine will be leaving the show, which is always sad.”
In the trailer, chaotic scenes from the accident show passengers being flung around inside the limousine as they scream in terror.
The characters then quickly come to the terrifying realisation that they’re precariously perched on fragile ice covering a frozen lake.
While Mandy’s fate is yet to be determined, Lisa has made it clear that she doesn’t intend to exit the drama for good voluntarily.
Emmerdale continues tonight at 7.30pm on ITV and ITVX.
