Liverpool’s Paddy Pimblett says he has been “eating well” and has put on 36lb (16kg) since losing to Justin Gaethje at UFC 324.
Pimblett tipped the scales at 11st (70kg) just 24 hours before facing Gaethje for the interim UFC lightweight title on 25 January.
Since that unanimous decision loss in Las Vegas, Pimblett has returned to Merseyside and indulged in one of his favourite pastimes – eating.
“I weighed myself this morning, I was only 86kg,” Pimblett said on his vlog.
Pimblett has a well-charted history of piling on the pounds after fights and previously told BBC Sport that he consumed almost 11,000 calories after a win at UFC London in 2022.
The 31-year-old follows an unrestricted diet when he is not training for a fight and has been touring Liverpool’s eateries over the past three weeks.
“I know the title (of the video) says I got fat again but I’m not that fat,” Pimblett said.
“I’m not like 94, 95 kilos. We’re doing good. We’re doing all right.”
