Danny Jones and McFly in huge festival announcement days after I’m A Celebrity win

Danny Jones hasn’t long been crowned as King of the I’m A Celebrity jungle, but he’s already getting back to work.

The ITV series’ camp winner from this year’s camp will return to McFly to perform live to awe-struck audiences once more. The pop rockers will be playing at Norwich’s Rock N Roll Circus festival this year, it was announced today (Tuesday, December 10).

The All About You singers’ third headliner will be Earlham Park in Norwich in August, which is a unique combination of live music and circus thrills.

On Thursday, August 14, McFly will headline the festival in style. They’ll be joined on the night by Eurovision’s Sam Ryder, and big acts including Lottery Winners, Rianne Downey, Deco, and Norwich favourites Youth Killed It.

In a joint band statement, McFly said: “We can’t wait to return to Norfolk next summer! Norwich’s Rock N Roll Circus has incredible music. See you there”!

The band has more than 20 years of success, racking up seven UK singles, including five-color numbers in Her Hair. They have performed in arenas all over the world and are renowned for their high-energy live performances.

Speaking of their addition to the festival, Ali O’Reilly, Festival Director, said: “Rock N Roll Circus is launching in Norwich with a bang! The energy and timeless hits from McCly will set the tone for a memorable weekend.

” With McFly on Thursday, Courteeners on Friday, and Olly Murs on Saturday, this is more than just a music festival – it’s a brand-new experience for Norwich that blends incredible live music with the wonder of the circus. “

After band mate Dougie Poynter won the reality contest in 2011, Danny became the second McFly member to be named the I’m A Celebrity winner. Following his own success on Sunday, Danny said:” It feels amazing, I can’t even talk. He continued, “He thanked fans for their support” and joked that it was nice to “be liked.”

He said:” Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I gave my all in there, it’s a lovely feeling to be liked. Thank you so much, I appreciate this so much. “

He has reportedly been in talks to play a number of TV roles. He has recently been a judge on The Voice, but could soon be busier”. According to a source told the Sun, Danny is the epitome of everything ITV values. He’s fun, family friendly and incredibly popular. He became a prime target for other shows they are developing because of how well-known he was on I’m A Celeb. Danny is a brilliant musician, but he is also great on TV. “
