Dani Dyer’s sad conversation with Declan Rice’s girlfriend Lauren after cruel trolling
After being cruelly abused by online trolls, reality TV star Dani Dyer defended Declan Rice’s girlfriend.
Lauren Fryer, 25, who shares son, Jude, two, with the England international has been the subject of some vicious comments on social media. Among a barrage of bitterness, one person told Declan he could “do so much better”, prompting Lauren to delete all of her Instagram photos.
Fellow WAG Dani, 28, who is engaged to West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen, has grown up in the public eye and said the level of abuse Lauren has suffered is unacceptable. Speaking about the callous keyboard warriors, she said: “It was so hard for her, the trolling, as she doesn’t put herself out there”.
Dani continued: “I think it’s harder when you are not in]the celebrity world] and you are being personally attacked. I found that hard. She is a really good mum, who keeps to herself. Nobody is deserving of that kind of criticism.
Opening up on the “cruel” abuse, she continued: “It was so cruel. We didn’t speak about it a lot. We did discuss how extraordinarily nice, fantastic, and absolutely gorgeous she is. Plus, she’s Dec’s childhood sweetheart and you can see how much he adores her”, reports The Sun.
An anonymous account told Arsenal star Declan that he “could do better” in December of last year, which started the abhorrent harassment of Lauren. Declan faced a troll’s jibe about having “low standards” for dating his girlfriend, leading the mum-of-one to wipe her Instagram clean of all pictures and photos.
Despite continuing to have 64, 000 Instagram followers and maintaining a public profile rather than keeping it private, Lauren has since deleted all of her videos and photos, which has sparked the abuse, which has prompted Love Island star Liberty Poole to speak out. Liberty, who appeared on the seventh series of the reality show in 2022 and Love Island All Stars earlier this year, wrote on her Instagram Stories: ‘ I think she’s beautiful this is crazy. What happened to embracing how each person is unique and celebrating different body types? Everyone has gone crazy with social media, and beauty standards these days are unrealistic.
Declan publicly declared his love for his partner after furious remarks about Lauren were made on social media. Speaking at a England match press conference, he praised his childhood sweetheart for being a realistic, funny, beautiful and kind person, saying:” She is the love of my life and I don’t need an upgrade. “
Since then, the pair has been dating ever since they met at school and started dating when they were 17-years-old. Lauren, who hails from Chessington, has supported Declan throughout his career, from his debut with West Ham to his lucrative transfer to the Emirates.
