Dame Judi Dench gobsmacked as her PARROT hits out at her in foul-mouthed rant

In a furious rant, Dame Judi Dench’s own parrot has slammed her.

The legendary actress, 89, will celebrate her 90th birthday in just a matter of days and despite being one of the most-loved stars in the nation, her parrot doesn’t always think the same. Dame Judi, who is best known for playing Queen Elizabeth I and M in James Bond, has revealed in a rare interview about her life.

Dame Judi revealed that she frequently spends a lot of time talking to her partner, 81-year-old David Mills, who she has been dating since 2010. Dame Judi found love with David after her husband, Michael Williams, passed away from lung cancer in 2001.

The Philomena actress enjoys engaging in conversation with conservationist David in particular. While she admits she’s “hopeless at my own company”, it’s her beloved African grey parrot, Sweetie, who she also confides in. The Tony-winning actor made the revelation in a statement to The Sunday Times that Sweetie’s fans ought to be aware of her rather foul mouth.

She told the outlet: “We had a long chat just now. You shouldn’t ask what she says. She says ‘ You’re a sl*t’, ‘ you’re a sl*g’, she has said ‘ Boris Johnson ‘ but she didn’t get that from me. She listens to the radio. My God, she’s funny though, she’s very, very funny. Everybody should have a parrot, or a myna bird. Their voices are absolutely incredible”.

Meanwhile, a source who was present at the London Sondheim Theatre’s Christmas edition of I Remember It Well with Dame Judi and Gyles Brandreth reported to the Mirror that Dame Judi informed the audience that Sweetie had made a rather vile observation about her grandson’s girlfriend. After revealing that she was wearing thermal underwear to stay warm, Dame Judi addressed the audience and called Sam Williams’ girlfriend “a s*t.”

However, Dame Judi previously spoke about her winged friend after she begged Sweetie for help after suffering a nasty fall at her Surrey home. The actress, who is losing her sight as a result of macular degeneration, previously described how she spent 30 minutes lying on the floor at her Surrey home.

Speaking in 2022, Dame Judi said: “I had a frightful fall not long ago. I fell over the carpet, fell over, and spent the next 30 minutes lying on the floor. I have a wonderful parrot who kept saying, ‘ What are you doing? What are you doing? ‘ When you need a very convenient parrot to call someone, but she didn’t, so we did.

She confirmed that she will be having dinner with her daughter Finty Williams and her grandson Sam Williams, who has already established himself as a household name thanks to his popularity on TikTok. Barbara Broccoli, the Ivy, the producer of 007, is also having lunch with her.
