Daisy May Cooper shows off huge engagement ring on cinema date

After spending more than three years together, Daisy May Cooper has reportedly revealed that she is engaged to Anthony Huggins, and the actress finally shows off her diamond rock.
Daisy May Cooper has shown off her sparkling engagement ring for the first time after it was reported she was ‘secretly engaged’ to her partner Anthony Huggins last month. The This Country actress, 38, was seen in New York with her partner on Monday as they walked hand-in-hand to the cinema, with the diamond rock sitting on her ring finger.
Speculation that Anthony had popped the question began last month when Daisy was promoting her BBC series Am I Being Unreasonable? on her Instagram Stories and referred to Anthony as her ‘fiancé’ for the first time. In a clip, she jested that her “fit fiance and baby daddy” would make an appearance on screen.
The couple met on dating app Hinge in December 2021 and welcomed their first child together, a son named Benji, in June last year.
Daisy shared the news on Instagram at the time, explaining how the baby arrived earlier than expected and how it caused me the worst post-op constipation, which caused me to almost call the Samaritans, but my god you are perfect.
“I can’t thank @deliverysuitegrh enough. You did a wonderful service to us in such a difficult situation.
It was reported last month that Daisy and Anthony were happily engaged and ‘over the moon’ with the news after a secret proposal. A source told The Sun at the time: “Daisy and Anthony are madly in love with each other and are a success story for dating apps. Their relationship has gone from strength to strength and already have a baby boy together.”
Daisy and her ex-husband Will Weston, who she split from in July 2021, just months before meeting Anthony, have children Pip, five, and Jack, three.
Daisy wed landscape gardener Will on 21 September 2019 but the marriage only lasted two years after the pressuers of Covid-19 pandemic saw them struggle to make the relationship work. “Will is amazing, an incredible, incredible dad – but fundamentally, there wasn’t real love there, I don’t think there ever was, really,” admitted Daisy to The Times.

She continued, stating that the lockdown “had a spotlight” on their marital difficulties and that she needed to be by herself in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The tattoo above Daisy’s new engagement ring, which was previously owned by Ryan Weymouth, a chef, was unrelated to her previous ex. She has since allegedly tattooed another tattoo to cover the ink, which read “Ryan.”
