After putting on such a massive amount of weight, Daisy May Cooper revealed the startling moment in which she lost no identity.
The comic actress claims she didn’t realize how much weight she had lost until she saw herself in a scene from her smash hit sitcom.
Daisy, 38, joked that she had lost a ton of weight between Am I Being Unreasonable? and series two, and that seeing herself in old scenes really helped her realize how much her appearance has changed. Following the 2020/21 Coronavirus Lockdown, Daisy May attributes her transformation to following the Keto Diet, which promotes a high-fat, low-carb meal plan.
She claimed in a statement to The Sun’s TV Magazine, “It was a little crazy because since we filmed the last series and this series, I’ve lost about ten stone, so in those flashbacks, we were just killing ourselves laughing because we don’t even look the same people.” But it was fun.

And because I was pregnant when series two was beginning to air, we had to cut off filming right in the middle because my son, who was born seven weeks early, chose to be born. I have a brilliant son, but that was stressful. “
Daisy May achieved fame after her brother Charlie and her BBC mockumentary This Country were successful. In the upcoming episode of Am I Being Unreasonable, she revealed that he will appear as a fake Dutchman. which will be broadcast completely on Wednesday on BBC iPlayer.
You can’t really say no because we both have the same agent and the same mother, she continued.
“I had to put him in a mullet. The funny thing is, actually, he kept dropping the accent – he’s not very good at a Dutch accent”.

Daisy had previously claimed that Daisy’s slimmer figure had been unfair. She said: “I’ve had some messages like, ‘ Well, now you’ve lost the weight you’re not funny any more. ‘ What the f***? Why do women have to be f***ing fat to be funny?
” That makes me so angry. I champion anybody. Everyone should feel content with their bodies, in my opinion. But I wasn’t. “
She didn’t just ditch bread and pasta as part of her wellness journey, it seems wine is off the menu, too. When The Sunday Times asked the Never Mind the Buzzcocks team captain what was their “best piece of advice”? “Daisy answered with:” From Denise Welch, who said stopping drinking is life-changing. “
Prior to becoming sober over a decade ago, Denise has been open and honest about her struggle with alcohol. Celebrating 11 years booze-free in April 2023, Denise, 66, shared a side-by-side photo of herself on Twitter (X), showing her before and after her last drink, to mark the anniversary.

Lincoln, who himself became sober along with her, thanked her husband for his assistance in her recovery. 11 yrs sober today!! “she captioned the picture”. Besides Matty and Louis, this was my greatest accomplishment. Thank you to my husband @LincolnTownley for everything]red love hearty emoji] “
- Series 2 of Am I Being Unreasonable? broadcasts on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on February 5th at 9: 30 pm.
