The Critics’ Choice Awards are back in the red carpet as the awards season draws to a close.
The ceremony, which takes place annually in Santa Monica, California, is honoring its 30th anniversary. The American-Canadian Critics Choice Association will compete for the top honors held by stars and productions both on and off the big screen.
The stars are now prepared to see if they are winning a gong despite having the bash rescheduled twice as a result of the California wildfires’ destruction. This year’s leading film nominees are Conclave and Wicked, with both movies receiving 11 nominations. Ralph Fiennes, Conclave, and Cynthia Erivo, Wicked, have been given the best acting awards, according to experts.
In the television category, Shōgun leads the way with six nominations.
Chelsea Handler is hosting this year’s ceremony, marking her third year in a row for the role. The comedian and actress is credited with hosting Chelsea Lately and appearing in the 2016 Netflix documentary Chelsea Does.
On the red carpet, Marco Perego and Zoe Saldana exchanged kisses in front of the cameras. As she clasped her husband’s hand while he was watching, the Best Supporting Actress nominee for Best Song and Best Supporting Actress nominee flashed red in delight. In a fitted gray suit, he looked intelligent.
Bridget Everett, who appeared in Somebody Somewhere and has received a nomination for Best Actress in a Comedy Series, looked classy in an off-the-shoulder orange dress and silver-strapped heels. While carrying a chequered clutch bag, she grinned for the cameras.
Jeff Goldblum looked dapper while also rocking the red carpet while wearing a flamboyant black and grey jacket and black ensemble. In a grey suit and a crisp white shirt pairing, Ethan Slater of Wicked looked smart.
A stunning mustard off-the-shoulder dress with a revealing left-side thigh split and a stunning mustard flowed out at the bottom was the news correspondent Emily Orozco’s glamorous attire. As the actress swept her shoulder and side hair, Zoe Ziegler looked flawless in a black tux and bowtie combination. For her role in Janet Planet, she has received a nomination for Best Young Actor/Actress.
