Courteney Cox shares the ‘gorgeous’ £38 perfume she always carries in her handbag
The ideal month to do some serious life admin is in January, including a big cleanout. Our handbags are frequently left off our cleaning list, as Courteney Cox recently discovered when she recently cleaned out one of her everyday bags.
In her Instagram video, Courteney unpacked some of her favorite items and went through the contents of her bag in an effort to get rid of them. Amongst the hair clips, lip balms and charging cables, she spotted a bottle of HomeCourt’s CocoMoi Perfume Oil, £38, of which she said: “This is my favourite thing, it smells so good. It’s small and gorgeous, so you can take it anywhere. Yeah, that is incredible”.

This ominous anti-ageing foundation is used by Holly Willoughby in Dancing on Ice.
Although Courteney may be biased because HomeCourt is her brand, the perfume oil has also received positive customer reviews. It has a 9.4 out of 5 star rating, with one saying: “Love, love and LOVE!!! The scent lasts all day and is incredibly warm and cozy. one of my all-time favorites for the winter months.
Another agreed: “This first day I wore this, could not get enough of the scent! Was asked by many what was I wearing:)”
A third person chimed in, “This is the best coconut scent ever!” This is the ONE item I have loved the most of the many online purchases I’ve tried.
In fact there was only non-five star review on the website, from one reviewer who said: “Love the scent but it does not stay”.
You can whip out CocoMoi Perfume Oil and reapply it whenever you like because the rollerball design of the product allows you to do so. It’s also made from naturally-derived skin-nourishing botanical oils, and is alcohol, paraben and sulfate free.
It has a lovely warm coconut-based scent that’s touted as ‘ light and sophisticated ‘ in the product description, with key notes of fresh coconut water, cedarwood and creamy fig. It’s balanced by warmer, spicier notes including sweet cardamom, vetiver and black pepper, and was inspired by the warm, grounded feeling of walking on the beach at sunset.
For other coconut-based perfumes, Who is Elijah has a similar scented fragrance. The price of the EAU perfume, which retails for a 50ml bottle at Boots, is typically $80.
It has similar notes of coconut, fig, pear and tonka, making it a gorgeous scent that can be worn all year round, although it’s definitely got a tropical, summery vibe. You can also pick up the Who Is Elijah 11 Vial Discovery Set at Boots for £36 (was £45), which includes 11 samples of the brand’s best sellers, including the EAU scent.
For more handbag-friendly picks, the &, Other Stories Roll On Perfume In Perle De Coco comes in a handy 6ml bottle and has a rollerball top, just like Courteney’s CocoMoi Perfume Oil. This perfume has a sweeter scent, with top notes of caramel and red apple, heart notes of bamboo, jasmine and ylang-ylang and base notes of vanilla, warm milk accord and sandalwood.
