Coronation Street’s Tina O’Brien ditches wedding ring again as marriage split fears grow

In response to rumors about the state of her marriage to Adam Croft, Coronation Street and Strictly Come Dancing star Tina O’Brien has been seen without her wedding ring.

Soap star Tina O’Brien, 41, has been spotted without her wedding ring amid rumours around the state of her marriage. The Coronation Street actress and husband Adam Croft reportedly called time on their romance after Christmas following a stressful experience moving house.

Seen grabbing a coffee in Cheshire on Monday afternoon, Tina cut a chic and casual figure as she stepped out amid her possible marital woes. The mum-of-two rocked Adidas trainers, jeans and dark sunglasses as she enjoyed a cup of joe with her dog – with her wedding ring nowhere to be seen on her left hand.

Tina, best known for playing Sarah Platt in Coronation Street, has been a staple on our screens since 1999. However, it’s her off-screen life that’s currently making headlines, with speculation swirling around her marriage to Adam. Tina is yet to comment on the rumours but has been spotted without her wedding ring on more than one occasion this month and even unfollowed her husband on social media.

In a heartfelt post last year, Tina couldn’t help but rave about their bond. She took to Instagram Stories to share a WhatsApp chat snapshot with her beau, captioning it “He’s my everything!” and making sure to tag her other half in the sweet tribute.

However, Tina and Adam’s recent rumors of trouble in paradise have been circulating. During a night out in Manchester, Tina was spotted without her wedding ring. She also uploaded images of herself in a red dress with a sparkly silver clutch and heels to go along with it. However, the selfie shared on Instagram Stories was taken with her wedding band and eagle-eyed fans in mind.

Additionally, Tina and Scarlett left their 16-year-old children behind, which only heightened their ire regarding the state of their marriage. Tina and Adam have not yet made any comments on the speculation.

An insider claimed the relationship between Tina and Adam was stressful and that the couple moved house at Christmas. They have both taken separate vacations, which has reinforced their desire to live independently. Everyone hopes for a solution, but it seems unlikely.

Tina and Adam’s love story began back in 2011, sparked by a serendipitous encounter at a Manchester coffee shop. The couple’s meet-cute was facilitated by Tina’s daughter, Scarlett, from her previous relationship with actor Ryan Thomas.

When Tina recalls the incident from 2017, Tina explained how Scarlett, a two-year-old, had innocently approached Adam and sparked their first exchange. Scarlett approached him while he was working on his computer and he said, “Hello, man,” Tina recalled. She continued, “He told us his name was Adam, and we started talking,” indicating the beginning of their romance.

Their son Beau was born in 2014 as their relationship grew stronger. Ryan and Adam appear to have a close friendship, with Tina admitting, “It’s taken a lot of years and a lot of biting my tongue.” However, it’s largely due to Adam and Ryan, which is a serious matter. Everyone moving on and being happy is a plus, right?

Adam and Adam proposed in 2016, but it wasn’t until two years later that they finally agreed to the proposal. After seven years of dating, Tina and Adam tied the knot in Manchester’s King Street Townhouse, surrounded by her loved ones and a number of Corrie employees.

In her Manchester stomping grounds, Adam, who is from England, has made a home for himself and Tina. He and Tina exchanged vows on June 6, 1985, at the age of 33.

He’s part of the team at Ultimate Performance, which boasts the title of “The World’s Leading Personal Trainers”. Over on Twitter, Adam proudly proclaims himself as the “business developer” for the fitness firm.
