Copy Maura Higgin’s ‘XL Body Bob’ with haircare products she ‘missed most in the jungle’

Maura Higgins made a comeback to her much more glamorous appearance after spending time at the end of last year in the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here jungle. Maura recently revealed that one of her favorite beauty products from the show she was missing the most was her haircare.

In a recent appearance on the Sheerluxe podcast, Maura said: “I use a lot of the Color Wow products. Because I have really frizzy hair, my go-to product is called Dream Coat, which keeps the frizz at bay when applied saturated with it. And that’s the one thing I did miss in the jungle”.

However, Maura has since been reunited with her essential haircare products, and Carl Bembridge, her friend and stylist, illustrated exactly how he uses the Color Wow range to create her voluminous bob, one of her most recognizable looks. Carl discussed how to style Maura’s “XL Body Bob” in an Instagram post, starting with Color Wow’s Raise the Root Thicken and Lift Spray, which is currently for sale at LookFantastic for £16.95 (down from £21.50).

Carl revealed that Carl had sprayed the wet hair directly onto Maura’s roots, giving it plenty of volume and body while still keeping it flexible and simple to style. Next, he applied the Color Wow Xtra Large Bombshell Volumizer, £24, all over the rest of Maura’s hair, with the foam adding fullness, texture and hold to your tresses.

Next, he blow dried Maura’s hair and styled it using heated tools. If you’re worried about damage, don’t be, as all of the Color Wow products contain heat protection, so you can use all your favourite styling tools without worrying about damage.

After Carl had curled and styled his way, he added a spray of the £26.50 Style on Steroids Performance Enhancing Texture Spray, which helps styles stay put longer. Finally, he finished up with the Extra Mist-ical Shine Spray, £28, to add plenty of shine to Maura’s hair.
