Commons Speaker says he tipped off police about Mandelson ahead of arrest

British House of Commons Speaker Lindsay Hoyle says he passed information about Peter Mandelson to Metropolitan Police. British media said Hoyle told police that Mandelson, who’s facing scrutiny over ties to Jeffrey Epstein, was a flight risk. Mandelson’s lawyers called that “baseless.”
