Charlotte Crosby lets in the cameras for C-section birth of second child
The reality star is expecting her second child just before her child’s second birthday in October, two years after Charlotte Crosby became a mother after giving birth to daughter Alba. With her due date this month, Charlotte hasn’t got long to wait to meet her new baby via planned C-section.
In an exclusive interview with the Mirror, Charlotte, 34, explained how her labour will go this time around.
“I had a C-section with Alba, and it was such a good experience”, she said: “I like to be in control – especially after my ectopic pregnancy]in 2016]. After having that operation, I was told I almost died and lost two of my reproductive organs. Never do I want to relearn how I used to be. I would always choose a C-section because it is too painful for me to push a baby out of my vagina.
She is returning to her TV career and filming a new reality TV show that continues to document her life as a mother, following Charlotte in Sunderland. The cameras are following her pregnancy journey through every step of the way, which is true.
“The cameras will be there for the birth, just like with Alba”, Charlotte reveals. “It was actually really enjoyable the first time.” We had a playlist”.
Charlotte, shares daughter Alba with her fiancé Jake Ankers, with the couple living in a luxury Manchester apartment having put her family’s Sunderland mansion on the market in February. Teaming up with Rightmove, Charlotte is proud to champion her hometown of Sunderland in the North East for Rightmove’s Selling Sunderland campaign video, a playful nod to Netflix’s property-reality show Selling Sunset.
“I’ve always said how funny it would be to do a property show in Sunderland”, Charlotte grins. “When Rightmove approached me, it was like we were on the same wavelength”.
Speaking of houses, back in November, four robbers armed with a machete broke into her home while she was upstairs with her two-year-old daughter Alba. Jake Ankers, her fiance, claimed he attempted to elude the robbers but was unable to catch them.
Charlotte claimed all of her Black Friday deals had fallen apart after the break-in and that she is still having trouble coming to terms with it when she shared an update with her followers on Instagram at the time. She confirmed to her fans that her baby is fine despite the fact that she is a hospital patient.
