‘Catwoman’ Jocelyn Wildenstein dies as tributes pour in for the fan of extreme plastic surgery

Jocelyn Wildenstein, a Socialite, passed away at the age of 84.

After reportedly having numerous facial cosmetic procedures, the Swiss-born actress, Jocelyne Périsset, was given the nickname “Catwoman.” Paris Match, who claimed she was dead at the time of her passing, reported her death.

Her fiance, Lloyd Klein, released a statement to the publication, saying she had died of a pulmonary embolism in Paris on Tuesday. Her partner Lloyd Klein was saddened to learn Jocelyn Wildensetein’s passing in Paris, according to the statement.

According to legend, Jocelyn allegedly spent millions on facelifts that produced high cheekbones and “cat-eyes” that resembled felines. However, she often rejected the claims.

The mother-of-two recently shocked her Instagram followers in September by posting a throwback image that almost made her look disregarded despite the denial. She looked like a Hollywood star in it, and her pose was flawless. Her beautiful blonde hair and on point makeup stunned fans as she held her daughter, Diana, on her lap. Jocelyn was depicted in the photo sporting a fashionable kaftan and smiling contentedly. The woman who allegedly fell under the knife made a world of difference in the event that she made the headlines.

Since 2003, Wildenstein and Klein have been dating. Four years after her messy divorce from French billionaire businessman and art dealer Alec Wildenstein, their romance blossomed. Before their unexpected union came to an abrupt end, she had married her ex in 1978 and lived with him for 21 years. The divorce settlement, reportedly worth billions of pounds, was one of the most expensive in history at the time.

Her ex-husband claimed the pair’s first marriage was a year after she frequently denied having excessive surgery. According to Vanity Fair, Alec said the duo opted for his-and-hers eye lifts.

After several operations over the years, Jocelyn’s face earned her the nickname of Catwoman. She told the publication: “The lynx has perfect eyes. If I show you pictures of my grandmother, what you see is these eyes — cat eyes — and high cheekbones”.

She had stated in 2017 that she would continue having plastic surgery into her 80s. In an exclusive interview with People, she claimed: “I’ve said to myself I’ll continue for the next ten years and then I may stop. I have no addiction, but I’m not against working harder. If I felt like getting more, I’d be happy to have it. Why not”?

Following her death, fans took to social media to share messages of condolence. One user on Twitter/X wrote: “The world bids farewell to Jocelyn Wildenstein, known as ‘ Catwoman’, who has passed away at 84. She will be remembered for her bold personality and unique beauty, which captivated many.

Another added: “#RIP Jocelyn Wildenstein”, while a third said: “She certainly lived a life, may she RIP”.
