Love Island Shaq Muhammad says he has “nothing to hide” after claims he cheated on his ex, Tanya Manhenga, whilst on a lads’ holiday. The personal trainer has vowed to be an “open book” in the All Stars villa, and will be open to questions surrounding the break up.

Shaq and Tanya came fourth on the winter series of Love Island back in 2023, and they dated for a year. The pair split in 2024, stating they had “parted ways” and wished each other “the best”. But Tanya said she became suspicious after Shaq returned from a lads’ holiday to Miami with fellow islander Dami Hope.

Speaking to The Mirror ahead of his All Stars appearance, Shaq says he isn’t worried about other islanders bringing up his past.

He told us: “I’m not worried about anything coming up. If anyone wants to know the truth, or what happened, I have nothing to hide. They can ask me. I’d rather someone ask me directly than speculate or have that assumption of me without speaking to me first.

“If they want to speak about past relationships, I have nothing to hide and I’m going to be open and honest about it. If I’m trying to find a relationship, which I am, I don’t want to start it with hard truths or any lies. I’m going to be an open book and see what happens.”

Speaking on a livestream last year, Tanya said she had “a feeling in her stomach” that something wasn’t right when Shaq returned from his trip.

She said: “I had a feeling in my stomach that something was like… I just knew it, he was acting very normal. Nothing was off. I just was like, something’s not right.

“So we went home, get home. Now I’m like, oh, you know, questioning him. I’m like, I’m gonna ask you one time did you do anything while you were in America? He said no babe I didn’t do anything, and I said ‘ok can I have your phone?’ The long story short is, everything was on the phone, guys. I was like, that was that.”

However, Shaq denied cheating on Tanya, insisting he did ‘nothing sexual’. Taking to TikTok, Shaq said: “I want to make something abundantly clear. I did not, while I was with Tanya, I did not have sex with anyone. I didn’t kiss anyone. I didn’t do anything sexual with anyone.

“While I was in Miami and on holiday, I did certain things that disrespected her boundaries, and I can hold my hands up to that, but in terms of actually sleeping with someone or doing anything sexual, that never happened.

“Now, I’m man enough to admit my mistakes and where I gone wrong in a relationship or anything, but it’s not fair to villainise other people or bring them into my situation when they have literally nothing to do with it.”

Shaq says he and Tanya are “on good terms”, adding, “There is no bad blood there. I think she wants the best for me, and I want the best for her.”

Shaq has high hopes of finding love during his second stint in the villa, which will air on Monday. He said: “I’m mentally ready to settle down, be in a relationship, have marriage and kids. I’m very traditional in that sense. That’s the end goal. My mum is looking at venues as we speak. When I get back she might have a list of venues and suit tailors – she is very on it!”

However, if you love the look and want to bag a similar buy, check out M&S’s Alpaca Blend Striped Textured Relaxed Jumper for £55, which is similar in stripe pattern and premium fabric, or AllSaints’ Onyx Jumper, slightly more expensive at £170 but a great colour match.

If you did manage to score this bargain knit, you’ll be getting plenty of bang for your buck when it comes to quality. A classic crew neck at heart, it’s been given a bit more personality with soft stripes, a brushed finish and a relaxed shape that drapes rather than clings. The dropped shoulders and rounded sleeves give it that cosy, thrown-on feel, while the mohair and merino blend makes it properly soft without feeling heavy.

Since the knit already has an oversized cut, you shouldn’t need to size up too much, unless you like to be draped in fabric. Considering how cold this week has been, a cosy mohair jumper is a smart investment for the month.

Katie Price has left fans in hysterics after they noticed an unusual object in the background of her latest saucy snaps. The former glamour model, 47, posted on social media to share a string of risque images as she left little to the imagination.

But it wasn’t her tattoos or skimpy clothing that grabbed viewers’ attention. Instead, as she poised in her messy bedroom in a revealing white body suit, the mum-of-five had failed to remove one strange object from the shot.

Instead, they were drawn to a cooked jacket potato perched on her bedside table. The uneaten spud was sitting beneath the loved-up image of the pair, leaving bemused fans rushing to the comments section to reveal their bizarre find.

One user queried on the Facebook upload: “Why is there a jacket potato on the side table?” They followed their question with a laughing emoji.

And they were far from the only person to notice. Another added: “I’m loving the potato randomly in the background!,” while a third said: “I think the potatoes jacket is good!”

It wasn’t just the carb-heavy delight that got the praise though, with some users also choosing to focus on Katie’s appearance. Several of her followers gushed over her “amazing” look.

While Katie decided to post the images, rumours continue to be rife about her love life. The former glamour model is reported to have become “frustrated” with the reality star because of his reluctance to get married.

A source told the Mirror: “This has been on the cards for a long time. Katie was pushing for marriage and security but JJ had checked out. The age gap didn’t matter at the start but the cracks started to appear and her urgency for another baby and for a wedding put a lot of pressure on him.

“She’s fixated on being with someone and being in a long, stable relationship so in the end she was like, ‘Right, you either marry me, or you don’t. It was all or nothing. JJ wasn’t up for all the drama that comes with being with Katie Price and he got cold feet.”

Katie was forced to shoot down reports of a break up just a few weeks in December. At the time, she posed for a photo with JJ’s family on Boxing Day, proving she and the reality star were going strong. In one snap she was seen beaming as she wore a cosy, cream-coloured beanie, as she sat among JJ’s nearest and dearest.

The TV star and mum of one took the brave decision to chop off her blonde tresses into a bob and shared her new look with her legion of followers. Taking to Instagram earlier this week, Emily posted a picture of her beautifully blowdried bob cut and captioned the post saying: “Bobviously.”

But it wasn’t just her new hairstyle that wowed fans, so too did her slender appearance, eighteen months after giving birth to her first child. In the picture, Emily cut an elegant appearance in a pair of black skinny jeans and a matching top.

One fan commented: “Wow you look fantastic girl.” Another person said: “The bob is nice on you, colour and style suits you.” Meanwhile a third person added: “Great hair.”

And while the initial focus by fans was on her haircut, the comments quickly moved on to her striking weight-loss. One person who clearly admired her new look said: “How did you lose so much weight! You look amazing?”

Someone else added: “Well done on the new bod beautiful.” Most recently, Emily posted a series of pictures over the festive period, which showed off her new frame. But this sparked a flurry of comments from concerned fans who feared she had lost too much weight too quickly.

Posting a message on one of her posts, one person said: “Skinny jabs are jabbing.” Another person said: “on the jabs? Looks good tho.” A third fan asked: “Are you on Mounjaro?,” adding: ‘That jab is making its rounds!”

Rushing to Emily’s defence, a die hard fan attempted to quell speculation by commenting: “These comments! Aren’t we over talking about women’s bodies?” A second person said: “The thing is, women can’t win. We are either too fat or too skinny. While I appreciate you admiring her a bit larger, her size or any woman’s size is not for public comment. Let’s just say she is stunning.”

Meanwhile a third social media user posted: “Its amazing that she’s posted a whole reel of lovely Xmas photos and 80% of the comments are about her body.” Emily announced the arrival of her newborn son back in July 2024 and at the time she claimed that she had been overwhelmed by the amount of people who asked her questions regarding her weight.

In a podcast chat with former Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing, months after the birth of her son Barney, she explained: “There’s something quite liberating about having a baby. Your body goes through so much and you genuinely look at your body as a completely different vessel.”

She added: “Being pregnant and being desexualised, looking at your body, you create a human inside you, then you give birth to your child – which by the way is mental – you get home and the first thing people say to you is, when are you going to get back in the gym?”

Laughing off the queries by fans she went on to defiantly add: “Are you kidding? I’ve just created a human, I am exhausted! I’ve just tried to push a human out of me and had it ripped out of my stomach.” She continued: “The last thing I want to do is go to the gym but the first thing you’re expected to do is get back into shape. Where’s the congratulations for being a mother? Instead it’s when are you going to get the baby weight off…”

“I’m not back at the gym at the minute, I’ve actually put on more weight since giving birth. I’m just enjoying this bit”, she said. The star of The Inbetweeners has always maintained that she has had a healthy relationship with her body image while growing up.

But she was left shocked at the amount of people who were intrigued when she joined the comedy drama series as Charlotte Hinchcliffe. In a previous interview she said: “There was a whole Facebook page dedicated to me/Charlotte Hinchcliffe. I couldn’t believe how awful it was, people talking about my weight. People would then try and be positive and say “at least we’re seeing curvier girls now playing sexier roles on television”. I didn’t even know I was curvy!”

She added: “I was a size eight, a tiny little body, but to some people it was the first time they’d seen a girl that wasn’t really, really skinny. They were used to seeing very underweight actresses playing the sexy girls.”

Amanda Holden was left squirming after being “caught out” during a lie detector test on her Heart Radio Breakfast Show, when a seemingly innocent question about Simon Cowell ’s style exposed a surprisingly blunt fashion confession about her long-time Britain’s Got Talent co-star.

The 53-year-old presenter and judge took part in the light-hearted segment on air, answering a series of questions while hooked up to a lie detector, with results revealed in real time. Things began smoothly when Amanda was asked whether she would ever take part in The Masked Singer.

“Would you ever do The Masked Singer, Amanda?” she was asked.

“No,” Amanda replied confidently.

“And again, we’re off to a good start. She’s telling the truth,” the presenter confirmed, as the lie detector backed her up.

Amanda was quick to clarify that her refusal had nothing to do with the format of the show itself. “I love watching it, by the way, but I just wouldn’t do it. No. Be too sweaty in there. I’d do it for the weight loss,” she joked.

However, the mood shifted when a listener called Michelle texted in with a question that brought Simon Cowell firmly into the spotlight. “Do you think Simon Cowell’s dress sense is good?” Amanda was asked — prompting immediate suspicion from the lie detector.

“I knew his name would come up,” Amanda laughed, before answering carefully. “Dress sense? When he wears a suit in the live finals, I think he looks really handsome, yes.”

But the lie detector appeared unconvinced. “Oh, I’m seeing a bit of deceptive reaction, Amanda. I’m sorry, Simon,” the presenter announced, much to Amanda’s embarrassment.

Attempting to clarify her answer — and inadvertently revealing the “brutal” truth — Amanda doubled down. “He does look very handsome on the live shows in a shirt and jacket. Well, I don’t mind his compression tops. It’s the tracksuit bottoms for me.”

She went on to defend Cowell on one particular style rumour, adding: “He doesn’t wear a Cuban heel — I’m going to stick up for him — but I’m not a fan of a tracksuit bottom on a man on live television.”

Amanda has previously poked fun at Simon Cowell’s fashion choices during an appearance on This Morning last year. During her interview with hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, the judge took a moment to reference Simon — and fellow BGT panellist Bruno Tonioli — following their appearance on the ITV daytime show the previous week.
