Carmen Bryan reveals how she first cheated on Nas with Jay-Z before falling pregnant

Carmen Bryan, 52, who had a years-long affair with Jay-Z, 55, has spoken about how they first kindled their secret relationship.

The singer wrote an autobiography back in 2006, It’s No Secret: From Nas to Jay-Z, from Seduction to Scandal – a Hip-Hop Helen of Troy Tells All. Carmen makes references to Jay-Z, who she fell pregnant with while dating rapper Nas, in the book.

This Shawn character appeared wise beyond his years. Shawn was very warm and extremely humble, with a wonderful sense of humor”, she wrote of Jay-Z in the book, adding: “Over dinner I decided he and I would be good friends for a very long time”.

Carmen and her friend went to a mutual friend’s house together, where she decided to spend the night. She later claimed that she was “no condition to drive home.” “Shawn and I sat on the couch while pretending to be watching television.” I snoozed all night long before going to sleep. Shawn kissed me when I woke up. I started to fall in love with him because his lips were so soft and luscious, she said.

Nas ‘ ex wrote how Jay-Z’s hands “began to roam” but she wasn’t feeling it at the time. The Roc Nation founder allegedly stated his intentions in writing a year later.

According to Carmen, Jay-Z claimed that they would have sex when she was “ready,” and that she asked how long it had been since they were “going to do it.” Carmen described her second encounter with Jay-Z and the start of an incredible feud between Beyoncé’s ex-husband and legendary rapper Nas after another round of waiting.

Before proceeding to Jay-Z, Carmen stated that she “had to make sure his intentions were right” and that the kissing process was rather intense. Somehow we ended up in his bedroom. He started to undress me and this time I didn’t resist. Both my clothes and his quickly went off.

Jay-Z and Carmen were involved from 1995 to 2000, culminating with her falling pregnant at the age of 26, but sadly suffering a miscarriage. Around the same time, Jay-Z was rumoured to be linked to teenage rapper Foxy Brown, now 46. After winning a talent contest in New York at the age of 15, Foxy made his way to the music scene in 1994.

Soon after, in early 1996, Foxy’s vocals were featured on the song ‘ Ain’t No N***a ‘ by Jay-Z, with Foxy singing lyrics including: Ain’t no n***a like the one I got. He snoozes, but he’s very generous with me. Friends’ll tell me I should leave you alone”.

Foxy recalled her early years in the music business at the age of 15 and how Jay-Z had a significant impact on her music career. “Jay can tell you… he’ll have to pick me up from school and take me to the studio”, she said in 2005. She continued, “A monster at 15,” for balancing studying with “knocking out” tracks and studying with correspondence.

With his 2001 diss track “Ether,” he rapped, “Foxy got you hot’ cause you kept your face in her p***,” rumors about Nas, who at this time was aware of Jay-Z and Carmen fueled speculations that he and teen Foxy were more than musical collaborators.
