Carlisle v MK Dons among games off due to freeze
Due to the freezing weather, Carlisle United’s League Two game against MK Dons on Saturday is one of the fixtures that have been postponed.
The UK has experienced the coldest night of the winter, as well as widespread frost, with more severe weather forecast for the weekend.
Due to frozen pitches, five National League games have also been postponed.
The fixtures at AFC Fylde, Altrincham, Barnet, Gateshead and Oldham Athletic will all be rearranged.
In the meantime, a number of matches in the first round of the Challenge Cup have suffocated as a result, with Ince Rose Bridge asking for assistance in getting industrial heaters in place to stop Longhorn from making a poor trip from Dublin.
