Brooklyn Beckham’s secret role in wife’s Lola movie – and why you’ll never see it

When Nicola Peltz, Beckham’s wife, cut him out of the movie she directed, he received a brutal blow.

Lola was Nicola’s 2024 directorial debut, in which she also starred as the titular character. The devoted husband had reportedly requested for a speaking role in the movie, and Brooklyn had been given the role of background work.

However Nicola wasn’t playing around, as she revealed to the Hollywood Reporter that she savagely edited out her husband’s speaking role, for which he is “still mad”.

Nicola explained: “I directed a film last year that I wrote when I was 23. Brooklyn is still angry with me.

” He was like, ‘ Can I be in your movie? ‘ And I was like, ‘ Oh my gosh, I would be honoured, but we have to disguise you’.

“Obviously he’s covered in tattoos and he’s British. So he did a few parts in the background which, if you pay attention, you can find, but in one scene he’s like ‘ Can I put the mic on, I wanna say a line? ‘”

The first-time director said this made her “laugh so hard”, adding: “He had the most British accent ever. I ultimately cut him out.”

Nicola continued: “He sat there, in the editing room, he was like, ‘ Did you really just cut me out while I’m sitting here? ‘ I was like, ‘ Yes, I love you so much'”.

In Miami in 2022, the couple wed in a loved-up ceremony that was reportedly valued at around £3 million. The guest list comprised the crème de la crème of the celebrity world, choc-a-bloc with A-list attendees.

In the drama Lola, Nicola Peltz, the actor-director, plays a young woman who is battling to save money to rescue her little brother from a toxic and dysfunctional family. Her character eventually transitions to drinking and smoking, eventually becoming a teenage mother.

The movie was first shown on February 9, 2024, and it was only available on a limited number of digital and theatrical platforms. Nicola made her directorial and writing debuts, and it also gave her her first major role of her own.

The 30-year-old began acting at age 12 when Nancy Banks, a well-known acting coach, first began teaching her at the age of 12.

A source told Daily Mail that Brooklyn enjoys doing various things in the movie, referring to his tragically cut cameo. He has watched his parents build theirs his entire life, and he is always looking for the next thing when it comes to Brand Brooklyn.

He thought that being in a movie that is currently being made in Britain would have been incredible and that it could have contributed even more.

“But the fact is, he just wasn’t very good.

“Nicola had the opportunity of a lifetime to make her mark on film.” She had to let him go, and she makes fun of it.

Lola was panned by critics who called it a film with” out of touch clichés”, with some going so far as to call it” poverty porn”.
