Brooke Shields admits ‘one good thing’ came from vile ‘husband stitch’ surgery without consent

Since Brooke Shields revealed that she had undergone a procedure that was akin to the “husband stitch,” a vaginal tuck to tighten the area, she has come to know that there has been “one good thing” to come after a doctor unintentionally performed the deeply invasive procedure without her knowledge.

The 59-year-old American actress revealed that a doctor had performed cosmetic surgery on her vaginal area while she was unconscious for another procedure without consulting her or asking for her consent. She has now indicated that the vile procedure can result in a positive outcome.

According to Brooke, “One positive outcome of it was that it made me feel more at ease with women,” she told The Guardian. When I was in the hospital with a broken femur, this brilliant surgeon saw me and said, ‘ Oh, dear God. Famous people get the worst treatment. ‘”

The surgeon continued to state that Brooked either wanted to show off or wanted to show you that he didn’t care who you were. And neither of those are healthy or productive”. She claimed that the events that occurred made her “more unified with women” and that “stuff like this is happening all the time.”

This procedure, known as the “husband stitch,” involves an additional stitch during vaginal repair following childbirth, which is a dated custom that is carried out to give the husband more enjoyment. Although it has been claimed that the extra stitch will make a male partner’s sexual pleasure worse, it has frequently been deemed unethical, and uncomfortable.

In her biographical new book, Brooke Shields Is Not Allowed to Get Old: Thoughts on Ageing as a Woman, the actress made the shocking admission about her experience. She revealed that she had gone to a gynecologist who had recommended to her to have her labia surgically removed in a brutally honest chapter of her book. She consented to having her body removed, but when she woke up to find out that the doctor had decided to do other things to her while she was unconscious, she was horrified.

She recalled the doctor’s statement, “I tightened you up a little bit!” Gave you a little rejuvenation”! and explained that he had reduced her labia’s size and tightened her vagina. She recalled: “I was shocked… There was a real ‘ I threw this in for free, little lady ‘ vibe to his delivery”, – and also explained that far from improving her body, it was “not good”.
