Due to the region’s ongoing wildfires, several British celebrities have been forced to leave their LA homes.

There have been 11 confirmed fatalities so far in the tragic scenes, with thousands of people watching as their homes are set to ashes. Paris Hilton, a socialite who shared the tragedy, called the events “hell on earth.”

However, a number of well-known British faces have also had to flee, just as A-Listers like Anthony Hopkins and Jhene Aiko do. Among those are TOWIE star Liam Blackwell, also known as Gatsby. He claimed that things were “out of control” on Instagram.

It makes no sense how these fires can keep starting in random places, he wrote in a video that featured black clouds of smoke in the background. Just got a text to evacuate!! God, please keep everyone safe inside the house. Big up all the Firefighters!!!! #losangeles #fire #lafire #la”

His pal and son of Piers Morgan, Spencer Morgan, urged him to stay safe in the comments section. Arron Crascall, a comedian, and Denise Van Outen both emailed their single love hearts, and they both said, “Please stay safe, brother.”

Dua Lipa, who reportedly called her “scary couple of days,” was also forced to leave her LA home. She wrote, “Absolutely devastating and frightening couple of days in LA,” as she revealed she was safe. Thinking of all my friends and the city’s residents who had to leave their homes. For anyone who wants to donate to the shelters that are currently home to a lot of displaced people, I’ll be sharing some links I’ve found.

Busted actor Jame Bourne is one of the other UK stars who has been affected. As the fires moved closer to his property, James took to Twitter/X to give a string of updates. Firstly, he wrote: “The fires on my street have been put out”. Then, later, he added: “Major explosion on the street wtf”. Before finally adding: “Ok I’m evacuating”.

Mark Owen, a Take That singer, also eluded his home as the wildfire spread. His wife Emma Ferguson reported that “helicopters, thick black smoke, and winds howling” had woken them up. On Thursday, she shared a clip on Instagram to tell her friends, family and followers she is safe.

Kelly Osbourne also shared the spooky photos from her front door on social media.

Hollywood’s expertly planned awards season has also been thrown into disarray this week by the fires. Due to the blazes, awards ceremonies were scheduled for this weekend, but they had to be postponed. The AFI Awards, which were set to honour Wicked, Anora and other awards season contenders, had been scheduled for Friday.
