Brady upsets Edwards with dominant display

In the fourth round of the pair’s welterweight fight at UFC London, Sean Brady deftly defeated Leon Edwards.
Before wrapping up the contest with a guillotine choke, the American, 32, out-grappled Edwards throughout.
After losing his welterweight title to Belal Muhammad in July, Edwards, 33, has suffered a second defeat in a row.
I left the hospital the day after we had our newborn baby, and I fought it.” Brady said, “I knew I could do that, and I think I belong in the top three without a doubt.”
“Dana]White] gave me a wonderful opportunity to come out here. I have a lot of respect for UK fans, sorry, but I love them.
Brady’s replacement for Jack Della Maddalena from Australia, who will face Muhammad for the belt at UFC 315 on May 10th, was a late replacement.
During fight week, Edwards and Brady had sparsely exchanged, with the Briton putting a lot of his attention on regaining the belt.
Despite having a strong beginning, Brady had a solid game plan for the fight.
History frequently repeats itself against Brady and Edwards spent much of the fight on the back foot against Muhammad.
Brady snuffed out the Birmingham fighter’s excellent start, with Edwards giving up position on the ground and shooting for his own poorly advised takedown at one point.
After three rounds, Brady’s dominance caused the crowd to start to grow out of the stadium and the crowd started to scream “no”
Brady’s corner informed him that “Edwards is broken,” and he capitalized, kicking the ball once more and securing the fight-ending guillotine choke.
Edwards lay face down on his back while Brady celebrated, his hands on his head.
“I’ve heard people complaining that I’m too small all week. I was 190 pounds when they weighed me back, but I’m not a size smaller than welterweight. I’m just short, Brady said, and that’s fine.
What comes next for Edwards-analysis?

Edwards has now lost two fights in a row after going 12 fights unbeaten and attempting to challenge Georges St-Pierre for the ninth consecutive welterweight title.
Although Edwards has expressed his desire to reclaim his belt this week, his performance at the O2 Arena indicates that he has fallen further down the pecking order in a fierce division.
In the title race, Brady, Shavkat Rakhmonov, and Della Maddalena are all ahead of him, and rivals Joaquin Buckley and Ian Machado Garry are also in contention.
The welterweight rankings seventh for Ireland’s Machado Garry would make for an interesting choice out of the fights Edwards has available.
Eight of Machado Garry’s UFC fights ended in defeat to Rakhmonov last year, but Machado Garry is still the top contender.
