An X Factor star who believes Louis Walsh is being edited unfairly criticizes the new Boyzone documentary.
The three-part Sky series called Boyzone: No Matter What, looks back at the Irish band’s rise to fame as well as their fractious relationship with Louis, who managed the group from 1993.
The former X Factor judge, 72, is criticised by Boyzone frontman, Ronan Keating, 47, in the documentary, who accuses Louis of ditching him during his subsequent solo career as well as making some ‘ really b****y comments’. Fans also criticized Louis for his “sly smirk” after seeing the release of Stephen Gately’s front page. Band member Keith Duffy branded Stephen’s treatment following the media scrum as “absolutely scandalous”, however, Louis remarks: “He got the front page”.

Despite the backlash, Union J star, Jaymi Hensley-Marmon, who was mentored by the music mogul in 2011 on the X Factor, reckons “LouLou” is “one of the most genuine people around” and is being given treated unfairly. Taking to Instagram, praising the Dubliner, he said: “Haven’t watched it the Irish Boyband documentary, but have seen online comments! My experience of LouLou is one of pure honesty, care, friendship, and compassion! One of the few people I’ve met in this showbiz rollercoaster who is even more genuine than she is.
” As a member of a “Louis Walsh” boyband, I can say he has always had my back. I’m honored to call this a friend because he is truly unremarkably caring. Not what tv producers want you to see, remember that! “
Jaymi continued, “He made sure I was okay and told me there is life left in me to live!” by mentioning that Louis had been there for him since Oliver’s tragic death.

Claiming the documentary is edited to make Louis look bad, he concluded:” As Louis once told me, it’s all in the edit! The only way to unite people is to give them a good enemy, according to the wizard in the evil movie! Well he isn’t it, and I think I can say that my following knows, I only speak the HONEST truth! I will always be in love with you, Mr. Walsh!
At the start of the documentary, Ronan says:” We were a bunch of kids put together. We weren’t perfect, we weren’t polished. “Then, in his own interview, Louis, taking a sip from a teacup, states:” I prefer ordinary people, because they work harder. And they begin with whatever you want.
Recollecting what it was like to work with Louis in the early days of their careers, singer Shane, 48, explains that he” promised us the sun, moon and stars”. However, the X Factor star then laughs, quipping:” They believed their own publicity. They misplaced what I had written.
