After her “scary and awful” daughter Margot, two, had a febrile convulsion, Billy Shepherd has updated fans.

The mother of three shared a photo of Margot, who looked worn out and was being comforted by her 10-year-old sister Nelly, revealing that the youngster had a febrile seizure brought on by a rise in her temperature.

In the caption, Billie, who turns 35 this month, wrote: “Yesterday morning out little darling Margot had another febrile seizure. It was once more caused by a rise in her temperature, which is so ominous and terrible for your little one to go through. Thankfully, she is recovering and recovering.

After Margot, who she shares with her husband Greg Shepherd, experienced her first seizure, Billie spoke out about the seizures, which can affect one in 20 children, in March of last year, claiming it was “the most scared I’ve ever been in my life.”

Billie included an update by posting a photo of her daughters.

Billie said in a conversation at the time, “The seizures are more common than you think, and that was the most frightful I’ve ever been in my life.” To perhaps assist other people, I wanted to share it.

The NHS describes febrile seizures as a fit that can occur when a child has a fever, and claims they are less common and rarely serious. According to the NHS Inform website, “During a febrile seizure, the child’s body usually becomes stiff, they lose consciousness and their arms and legs twitch. Some children may wet themselves. This is known as a tonic clonic seizure”.

When Billie, who is also the mother of Arthur seven, first reported the seizures last year, said she wanted to raise more awareness so that other parents could manage the frightening experience because she felt there was not enough information.

When she said at the time, “We called an ambulance and Margot was examined at the hospital because I was so scared.” “I’ve spoken to a lot of doctors, and they all said the same thing to me, that they are common but not discussed, so I’m sharing this because it might spur some of you to do some research on this situation.”

Fans of Billie andamp; Greg’s show, The Family Diaries, are well-versed in the drama and joy that unfolds inside the Shepherd house, but they recently received criticism for sharing footage with Billie’s father before he entered rehab. Billie was filmed crying on the phone to her dad Dave, who struggles with alcohol addiction, when he was suffering a drink-induced “psychosis”.

Some viewers criticized Billie for being so open, with one critic stating, “I think she’s actually really brave and real for sharing all of this. After seeing some of these scenarios, some people may be able to help themselves.
