Ben Shephard and The Traitors star sample Oscars menu ahead of glitzy awards

A menu that is said to have been featured at the Oscars recently was shared by the likes of Ben Shephard and a former Traitors star.

The Oscars ceremony will take place on Sunday night in the US this year. A host of celebrities, including nominees, will be at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles for the annual film awards ceremony that evening.

It will be followed by the Governors Ball, which is a post-ceremony “celebration” at the venue. Restaurant owners Wolfgang Puck and Eric Klein have previously revealed that they have “created” a weekend menu for the occasion.

Chef Elliott Grover, who runs Wolfgang’s restaurant CUT in London’s 45 Park Lane, has revealed that he will work on the occasion. Elliott’s involvement was celebrated at a party in the UK ahead of the role’s departure.

Ben and Nathan Khider, who hosted the most recent episode of the Traitors on Good Morning Britain, were among the guests at Bar 45 at 45 Park Lane. Mhari Aurora from Sky News joined them.

It’s been speculated that Elliott’s party earlier this month was a part of the upcoming Governors Ball of the Oscars’ “cooking three signature British dishes.” The three dishes are reportedly knickerbocker glory, tartar sauce, and fish and chips.

In photos shared on social media, some of the attendees posed with Oscars at the restaurant, which was also launching a new art exhibition at Bar 45. In a photo taken with Elliott and other guests, Ben was seen holding the award. While Nathan posed alongside Mhari in a photo she shared with her followers, promoting the award.

45 Park Lane has since shared the event’s footage on Instagram. The hotel’s video on the platform showed what attendees at the party were getting at the party, including some attendees who appeared to have had the three dishes’ apparent appetizers.

Alongside the video, it wrote in the caption last week: “A Taste of Hollywood. At the 97th Oscars Governors Ball in Los Angeles, Wolfgang Puck and Eilliott Grover celebrate three enduring British dishes at the prestigious new art exhibition Icons of the Silver Screen at BAR45’s party. Up until March 9th, 2018, BAR45’s award season menu is also available to purchase.
