The Mirror examines some of the allegedly “anxiety-inducing” social media posts, including the one that some people believe led to his blocking spree as the Beckham feud spreads.

Two family members, Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz-Beckham, will be conspicuously absent as the Beckhams prepare to spend Christmas in the Cotswolds.

In the midst of a contentious feud, the couple has distanced themselves from the main Beckham clan. Brooklyn was absent from his father’s celebrations for his 50th birthday and the knighthood, and he also didn’t attend the Netflix premiere of Victoria’s docuseries in October. However, David and Victoria marked a significant milestone this year.

Brooklyn, 26, reportedly blocks his own family on Instagram, including his 14-year-old sister Harper, adding yet another twist to the situation. A “friend” of the couple has since claimed that they wake up dreading what the Beckhams may have been posting about overnight because they find such updates to be “anxiety inducing.”

If the Beckhams could just back off and leave them alone for the time being, this pal told the Mail Online. This year, The Beckhams began these “blocking” game stories, and they continue. It shouldn’t and shouldn’t be a story whether someone follows someone on Instagram or any other platform. Nothing has changed in this unfortunate circumstance. Brooklyn and Nicole haven’t commented on anything. They merely desire tranquility. The Beckhams should stop contacting, commenting, and briefing because it accomplishes nothing for them.

They continued, “They have requested that the Beckhams back off.” They simply want to be themselves. The Instagram content is merely a media play; it resembles more manipulation and gaslighting. Brooklyn and Nicola are only made to feel more distant by it. The speculation makes them angry. They are attempting to take the “real” route, which is to simply live their lives without reacting. What posts, however, have caused such anxiety in the Peltz-Beckhams?

Nod ferociously

Back in November, mum Victoria her Instagram Stories to share a video from her mother Jackie’s home, where all the grandchildren’s Christmas stockings have been displayed around a beautifully dressed fireplace.

One of the personalised stockings featured Brooklyn’s embroidered name, which is notable. His stocking was shared by Victoria’s younger sister Louise and her ex-husband, Darren Flood, along with Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, as well as all of their cousins, Liberty, Tallulah, Finlay, and Quincy.

The former Spice Girl put “So many grandchildren” in the caption. She also shared a clip of her and her younger siblings Louise and Christian’s childhood Christmases, which are depicted in vintage stockings. The Beckhams have always celebrated Christmas with joy by sharing family photos.

However, this year, a source told The Sun that the “ghost of Brooklyn” was casting a shadow over what should have been a merry festive period. “It’s like the ghost of Brooklyn is hanging over their Christmas and New Year’s celebrations. Last year they were all together like one big happy family and this year couldn’t be more different.”

The source continued, claiming that “special days” like Christmas and David’s investiture were taking their “toll” on Brooklyn. The Beckhams are trying to show how much Brooklyn is missed and that “he does have a family that loves him” by posting the picture.

Throwback snaps

Without prior authorization, content cannot be displayed.

On Wednesday, December 17, youngest brother Cruz Beckham took to Instagram with some sweet throwback snaps, including a childhood pic of him, Brooklyn, and middle brother, Romeo, 23.

As the carefree-looking trio posed on a Brazilian beach while Brooklyn can be seen posing with his arm around Cruz. A younger Cruz poses against the iconic Rio Redeemer in a selfie, as well as a more recent photo.

Before posting this post, Cruz shared a sweet home video of the pair as children, and a picture of himself, Brooklyn, Romeo, and their father during a 2021 holiday, with the caption “Love you guys @davidbeckham @brooklynbeckham @romeobeckham”

Cruz’s recent emergence also gave rise to the rift getting too painful. He shared a close-up of his own face and said, “Life is too short to be silent, at least talk it out,” before adding an emoji for a crying face.

branch of olive

Sir David himself appeared to have given his youngest son an olive branch last week by sharing a nostalgic photo with his three sons.

The footballing legend shared a snap of himself, Victoria, Romeo, Cruz and Harper celebrating his MLS title in Miami. However, in the same post, he also included a throwback snap showing himself with Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz after winning that same cup as a player with LA Galaxy, back in 2011 and 2012.

He wrote the post, “Limit to cry,” as he celebrated becoming the first player to win the MLS Cup both as a Los Angeles Galaxy player and owner.

Chicken video

Brooklyn recently received more than he had hoped when he made a recipe for “beer brined chicken with mashed potatoes” in a social media post. The cook showed the “beer-brining” of chicken meat for 24 hours before “placing some rosemary butter around.”

Brooklyn demonstrated his finished dish to the audience, saying, “My Express includes a chicken breast, some potatoes, and vegetables.

However, his mother Victoria liking the post piqued the interest of foodies, which sparked a ferocious barrage of well-intentioned advice. Victoria liked this post, according to “one commenter.” Yay!!! Everything has a family. Another urged: “See your parents; you’ll regret it later in life,”

Many people are now wondering whether this could have been the catalyst for Brooklyn’s apparent blocking spree.

Cruz’s eruptive rage

In recent days, it was reported that Brooklyn has unfollowed his famous parents, with them unfollowing him in return. Brooklyn’s younger brother Cruz, 20, hit back in an Instagra, story, insisting: “NOT TRUE. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son… Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked… as did I.”

Meanwhile, a source told The Sun that Brooklyn’s recent decision had left David and Victoria “heartbroken.” They claimed that all they want is for problems to get fixed, but they just seem to get worse each week.

Cruz and Romeo are reportedly angry that Brooklyn is staging such a mass attack. Brooklyn: “Despite his actions having the opposite effect, he wants things fixed in private and not played out on social media.”
